#tee off

With TFNation coming next month, a memory from last year came racing back:

I was chatting with this guy who'd come to the convention with his mum, all of us waiting in line to meet David Kaye. I showed them both my sketchbook which had the drawing I hoped to get autographed along with my sketches of Whiplash and Dustoff, and they were very impressed.

Then his mum said "I wonder if there's a Transformer who's a golf cart?"

With a chuckle, I replied "I'm sure there's one out there somewhere."

"What do you reckon he'd be called?" asked the guy.

Wracking my brains, I said the first golf term that came to my head: "...Tee Off, probably."

That got a good laugh out of both of them.
