Ted Studios
Prologue
My name is Daniel era Bain. I'm a private detective. I've been investigating the case known as Ted's Studios disappearances, even though nothing was ever recovered from the investigation a couple of years ago. However, the loved ones and relatives of the employees have come to me in need of my abilities. I do not blame them for coming here and asking me to look into it. I have to admit that Ted's Studios always gave me a chilling feeling in my spine whenever I drove past it in my car, glancing at its bold innocent but yet disturbing lettering that spells Ted’s Studios.Â
One child disappeared from the local neighborhood. No disturbing noises were ever reported. In fact, in all the cases, the loved ones or relatives had no idea that their loved ones and family members went missing until a few days later. In all of the cases, the people that went missing had worked at Ted’s Studios after the first child went missing. This was pretty much all the police investigation had on Ted’s Studios. Nothing else was ever discovered when the police investigate. There was no putrid, smell of rotting corpses. Thank God, I mean, for Christ's sake, this was supposed to be a kid-friendly development for kids' shows there were no signs of anyone that broken in, there were no signs of a struggle of a fight no blood was ever found no locks of hair nothing.Â
So, I decided to investigate a bit deeper by entering the abandoned Studio I have never been inside the studio even when they first open to the public. It's those damn cardboard cut-out of those animals that always get me, they seem to be alive, but yet dead inside, something that lives with no soul just hollow there always seems to scan every nook and cranny of the room they were placed in. With a disturbing shine within their eyes, I‘ve always hated things like that, but I’m a man now I should not let my childhood fears cause me any discomfort.Â
Tonight, I’ll have a look around inside the studio, I know it's risky not knowing what's inside there. Nevertheless, I need to get some evidence to find out what happens, I needed to push my childhood fears aside and go inside that building… that building that looks at me every time I drove past it. It mocks me if only I had enough courage to even glance at it, but not this time, Ten minutes I pulled to a stop and got out of the car, looking at the building that loomed up before me, its dark outline a wound in the dark sky I leaned back against the car, slightly dizzy. I took a moment to steady myself, breathing deeply. I had known it would be here and the answers I have been seeking are within that building.
