"You are scum, you hear me? Scum!" shouted Wallace, stodgy finger pressed against Jamieson's sternum, spittle and sausage breath flying everywhere they really shouldn't.

He wasn't wrong, but he hadn't have to say it like that.

Jamieson's fist sunk into the ribcage of the guy, relishing just that little bit how the wet thud combined with the wheezing to make the sound of a child's balloon dying an ignoble death. She'd been wanting to punch her landlord for the last five months, and getting to do it on her way out of the world's shittiest apartment was truly satisfying. Something about getting a parting shot. Or maybe she was just frustrated and Wallace had a punchable existence.

Having hit people for less, and not being one to ponder too much the vicissitudes of her life, she focused on the next step.

And hit the guy across the jaw.

"And you are a cross between a pregnant weasel and a forklift, Dennis!" Jamieson yelled, adjusting the strap of her backpack. She had been calling him Dennis ever since she moved in. It was funny.

I think i've answered this before, but they just find it sweet that their Pikachu looks like their little brother!
