Last week flew by, as time does when you’re having fun. Another year, another epiphany that this is what I want to be doing day to day. Forever thankful to Julie Weiss for asking me to volunteer in 2017, it changed my life. I’ve made new friends, learned new things, interacted with people I would have in no other circumstance met, and found another home at the Ritz East. I am filled with gratitude for the Ritz East staff’s kindness and hospitality. It has been a privilege and honor to work the Philadelphia Film Festival these past two years. This post would not be possible with out the absolute brilliance of R&R. These two are incredible at what they do; they are genuine, wonderfully made and hilarious people I feel so very blessed to have met and worked for. The Philadelphia Film Festival wouldn’t be the same without these two. Thank you to the staff of @phillyfilmsociety for bringing these films to our beautiful city and the opportunity to not only see some of them but to serve the film community. The faces pictured are only a few of my friends and fellow volunteers.
