This isn't my usual kind of post, but:
If you're a student reading this and you're attending classes (required, elective, or recreational) via Zoom etc., does your school or class have a policy on whether you need to be
Sitting up at a table
Specifically not on a bed
Wearing non-pajama clothes
Keeping your camera on at all times
Contributing verbally rather than in the chat
Any other rule beyond what would be expected in an in-person class
I'd like to gather some anecdotal evidence before I talk to my principal after break. I'd like to hear how you feel about these policies, how you think they affect your learning, and what you are happy with or wish were different. Parents of students, I'm also open to your thoughts but I'm particularly interested in current students' own feelings about it, especially students with learning disabilities, anxiety, or any other type of disability or neurodiversity.
