But when Draco actually experiences the muggle world, he finds that muggles have learned and discovered more than he could ever imagine.

He decides he wants to open schools for younger witches and wizards (under 11) and older (17+) so younger kids will have a solid grip on basic math, science, history, and language, before they get a magical education and older will be able to understand the muggle world with more specificity. Because how is wizarding society going to push forward out of purist ideals and actually integrate into the rest of the world without understanding it first?

Harry naturally thinks Malfoy is up to something. Shenanigans ensue.

Fanfic writers: do your thing

Blade: the stern-looking, mostly-silent and laconic teacher who never raises his voice but all the kids are scared to cross him. However, he cares about his kids and will always defend them/think the best of him, so the kids are in turn very loyal to him and do their best to make him proud!

Trouble: the loud, boisterous teacher who makes jokes and is like a warm older brother to his students; they can talk to him about anything and he’ll always help them out! Probably not a lot of learning gets done, but he’s a very positive adult figure in their lives that they trust!

Tallys: the calming, soothing, sort of ethereal teacher who teaches her kids to respect nature, responsibly take part in the community (they grow a garden and keep a pair of rabbits as a class); she’s more focused on guiding her students to grow up to become good citizens (and recycle) than getting them to get really high standardized test scores?

Shery: the sweet, pushover teacher who the students manipulate into giving them more recess or trick her into thinking they got their parents’ permission to go on the class trip because she doesn’t think to doubt them, but who is also so well-meaning and sweet that they don’t bully her and in fact all rally around her and love her at the same time!

Chase: the teacher who intentionally sticks kids in the same work groups as their crushes, or teaches them all how to get away with pranks... think Jack Black in School of Rock except it has nothing to do with music, he just has to be here all the time so there might as well be something entertaining for him in the mix too. oh, you want him to teach them math? sorry fam, math and reading is far squares

Riel: the severe, hardass, demanding teacher who accepts NO excuses. You didn’t do the homework because your dog ate it?? SHOULD HAVE EMAILED SOMEONE ELSE AND ASKED TO MAKE A COPY THEN. absolutely NOTHING gets past him--it’s said he has eyes in the back of his head--and all of his kids are terrified of him/hate him but by god do they perform well... they’re the smartest class in the whole damn district by the time he’s done with them!

Red: the friendly, ‘cool,’ stylishly-dressed teacher who some of the students (or their parents) sort of crush on and giggle around, and who other students just desperately want the approval of and to impress. a very good role model as well as extremely knowledgeable, he’s just excited to teach and his warmth and enthusiasm are palpable!

Ayla: the fierce mother-hen protective teacher who yells a lot but who none of the kids take seriously (in terms of her yelling) because they know she doesn’t mean it in a scary way. They tease her and like to make her steam but it’s in a playful way, and she sort of plays into it as well for banter. However, if she sees anyone bullying her kids, she’s going to bring HELL down on them.

Glynda and Jaune: *Stand in an empty training room*

Glynda: "So Mr. Arc, before we begin, lets go over your skills.

Jaune: *Dejectedly snarks* "I have skills?"

Glynda: *Remains unaffected* "They are few in between compared to everyone else, but yes. You do have skills."

Jaune: *Slumps down* "Thanks for going soft Prof."

Glynda: *Smirks a little* "If I go soft, then you won't learn anything." *Walks around him* "But back to my point. while your combat application and advanced studies are poor compared to the rest of the student body, in your Team Tactical Theory and Advanced Strategic and Resource Management Courses you are at the top of the class. In addition to that, your Math, Science and Technical Management scores are all in the upper percentiles. In layman's terms Mr. Arc. If you were to pursue higher education elsewhere, you would have been one of the top students. As it stands now, since combat is roughly half of your grade in this school, you are barely passing."

Jaune: "Yeah." *Looks down with a sigh*

Glynda: *Smacks his chin with her crop forcing his head up* "First lesson Mr. Arc: Always keep your eyes up. Even if you have a bout of teenage angst. Never stop observing your surroundings."

Jaune: *Rubs his neck* "Understood."

Glynda: "I don't think you do Mr. Arc. A good Hunter knows himself above everything. To get to where you want, you need to know what you lack." *Folds her hands in front of her stomach* "Name the one thing you lack the most training in."

Jaune: *Stays silent for a few moments as his eyes flow around the room, thinking, before looking back at her with his eyes focused* "Aura."

Usnavi De La Vega: Geography

Whenever he teachers he eventually starts to talk about the Dominican Republic. His students love him, but want him to talk about something else. Everyone knows about his crush on Vanessa, everyone except Vanessa.

Vanessa: Science

Nothing blows up in her class. Nothing. All the students that are into girls have had a crush on her once in a while. Other students bring up Mr. De La Vega in the middle of class to see her reaction.

Benny: Math

Sometimes raps while teaching, which his students loves. Sometimes Nina shows up, and somehow finds five things wrong with his teaching methods. He also raps the announcements over the loudspeaker. Nina sometimes joins him there as well.

Nina Rosario: Spanish

She’s actually really good at teaching. She gives a ton of work though, and her students hate her for it, but they all know perfect Spanish after a year of being in her class.

Sonny De La Vega: Substitute/TA 

He’s the cool sub that everyone loves. He also just helps around at the school, especially in Graffiti Pete’s class. He and Usnavi sometimes help in the cafeteria or bring coffee for the teachers.

“Abuela” Claudia: History

Everyone calls her Abuela. She doesn’t really stick to the normal curriculum, and often tells stories from her own life. All the students love her. She’s kind of the honorary counselor as well, all the students go to her to talk.

Daniela: Home Ec     

She doesn’t even teach her students how to cook, just how to do hair and stuff like that. It’s pretty much a fashion class. She always knows the latest drama, and helps run the school newspaper.

Carla: Daniela’s TA

She helps Daniela out, and also gossips with the students. She also helps run the newspaper.

Kevin Rosario: P.E/Works in the office

Always telling the students to do their best. Some students love him, some hate him. He also announces events on the loudspeaker, but all the students prefer Benny.

Camila Rosario: English

All the students would chat in her class because they thought she was chill, but stopped when she seriously chewed out this one student. Everyone does their work now.

Graffiti Pete: Art

He’s the art teacher that only has his students use spray cans instead of pencils or paintbrushes. That and his sagging sweatpants gave him his nickname, no one knows his real name. There’s rumors that he’s dating Sonny, but no one is certain.

Piragua Guy: Cafeteria guy

They can get other stuff too, but all the students get from him is his piragua. No one knows him very well.

Mr. Softee: Truck outside the school 

Adam frowned at the teenager. “Timothy, I’m not saying you can never cuss, but you need to learn when it’s an appropriate time and when it’s not. Around your friends? Sure, go crazy. But sometimes your situation or job won’t allow it. You don’t see your teachers cursing up a storm. We’d get in trouble.”

“Umm, that’s not true. Teachers curse all the time.”

“They do not,” Adam retorted.

Emily, one of his brightest and most studious kids, whose name he often listed under the “Helpful & Dependable Students” category when he wrote sub notes, politely raised her hand and said, “Um, actually, it’s sort of true. Mr. Lynch curses in front of us all the time.”

Sophia wish she had taken the chance to be an anatomy professor at a university, but instead she was teaching high schoolers. They were driving her mad, none of them would listen to her as she tried to teach her lesson. Instead the woman sat at her desk feeling flustered as chaos broke out in her room. Children were chatting and on their phones while others were throwing things across the room. She didn’t know how to stop it, every time she tried to put her foot down, they would walk all over her. She was praying for a miracle, for anything that would rally these kids under control. She ran her hand though her hair in frustration, not noticing her coworker passing by. 

Leo Fitz had never planned on being a high school teacher, but here he is. Now his only goal is to survive the next 10 months, but with his flat mate's girlfriend working in the same building, and an incredibly cute colleague across the hall, that may prove to be more difficult than he'd ever imagined.
