So, after rethinking some things I feel like I should say something
Everything I know so far about Carazar Zone and his controversies is from Reddit comments, Disventure Camp Wiki and TvTropes, but I haven't seen any screenshots or links or other actual evidence for many of the claims
Apparently he made some transphobic, homophobic and/or sexist comments in Total Drama fan spaces, but I can't say that for certain because like I said, I haven't seen any actual evidence
To turn Hunter into a self-insert and write a harem fantasy plotline without consulting the other producers, artists and writers was a pretty crappy thing to do
I personally have nothing against Harem Animes, but that's just kind of mean
But one claim that I've seen in a lot of comments on Reddit is that he's a pedophile, and honestly, that seems a bit farfetched
The base of this claim is that he drew and commissioned erotic fanart of Disventure Camp and Total Drama characters and honestly, that just rubs me the wrong way
Calling somebody a pedophile because of fanart of cartoon characters, seriously that is and will always be stupid and actually devalues real life child abuse
So unless somebody can proof that Carazar Zone sexually harassed real, living minors, calling him a pedophile is plain wrong
Also, I took a look at his art and honestly, it's really not bad, yeah it's porn on rule34, so what, if any person actually expects porn of all things to be a source of moral guidance, then I can't help you
As an adult in this fandom sometimes I see some cold ass takes and just lose braincells

if you think a certain character doesn't "deserve" to be headcanoned as trans because they did shitty things in canon then maybe reevaluate the way you see trans people, especially trans women. because there's a difference between "I'm not personally comfortable headcanoning this character as trans because they did some creepy things in canon," and using the word "deserve" as if trans women have to be innocent and pure to "deserve" their gender identity.
