( A ) Affection - How affectionate are they?

Vance is definitely affectionate but in his own way. Instead of cute nicknames or kind words, he invites you to participate in activities he would usually do alone, like going to the Grab ‘N Go to watch him play pinball. Or opening up about more personal things like his interests or home life. Though, as you get closer, he would be more open to the “normal” couple stuff.

( B ) Beauty - what do they admire most about you? What do they think is your best feature?

Vance definitely loves your eyes and your hair.

Like I mentioned a million times before, Vance struggles with expressing his emotions (especially verbally) so I totally see him just staring into your eyes whenever you guys are together. (Even though he struggles to maintain eye contact)

He also loves playing around with your hair whenever he’s bored or when you two are cuddling. (no matter the hair type bc I said so)

( C ) Cuddles - do they like to cuddle? And if so, how?

Like many of his traits, this is something that changes over the course of him getting used to a relationship. At first he’s very defensive towards any type of physical affection but over time he gets used to it and even initiates it.

I can def see him just laying his head on your shoulder while you play with his hair or just having an arm around you 24/7.

( D ) Dreams - How do they imagine their future with you?

I don’t think Vance really thinks about the future with you that much. Not because he doesn’t love you, but because he’s more of a “live in the moment guy” he adores you and would much rather focusing on you now than worrying about what’s soon to come.

He definitely sees you guys growing old together tho

( E ) Equal - are they dominant or passive in a relationship?

I don’t think Vance would be either in a relationship. He knows some things are better done by you and some things are better done by him, and he’s perfectly fine with that. But he definitely attempts to show you how much better he is at something than you are. (He almost always fails)

( F ) Fighting - what are they like in an argument? How long does it take for them to forgive/ be forgiven?

I think it depends. He is a very reactive person and I think he understands that he has a hard time dealing with his anger (or any overwhelming feeling for that matter.) This knowledge either leads him to isolate himself to avoid lashing out on you. Or (in more cases then not) it results in the classic aggressive yelling.

Either way, he tries his best to not hold grudges, he (secretly) appreciates the connection you guys have and tries to keep things from ruining it.

You always forgive him bc who wouldn’t

( G ) Gentle - How gentle are they?

About as gentle as a brick🙏 As I mentioned before, Vance tries his absolute best to keep anything from messing up the relationship between you two so at the start of the relationship he was the absolute opposite of gentle but overtime he develops a kinder and more gentle spirit (with your help ofc.)

( H ) Honesty - do they have any secrets or are they open about everything?

Vance is a very secretive person. Not because he has anything bad to hide, but because he is simply not an open person. He’s used to keeping things to himself so it definitely takes a while before he’s able to open up. Even then, it’s not anything crazy, just little facts about the things he likes and the things that go on at home. (☹️)

( I ) I Love You - how long does it take for them to say it? How would they say it?

Like I said before, Vance shows his affection in his own way. So I think it would take a while for him to say it, not because he doesn’t love you but because in his mind being kind to you is enough to show that he loves you. Obviously he would still say it back if you say it first but it would just be rarer for him to say it first.

( J ) Jealousy - Do they get jealous? If so, how do they act?

MOST DEFFF. Vance knows (and LOVES) that most people are afraid of him. So when he finally meets someone who genuinely cares for him, he is willing to sacrifice his life for them. He also doesn’t “talk things out” like how a normal person would. Anything from a weird look to an inappropriate comment from someone else is enough to get him riled up to fight. (And he wins every time bc I said so)

( K ) Kissing - What is kissing them like? Are they a good kisser?

Vance is definitely not a good kisser. Again, he’s not used to affection so all his dating/kissing information comes from whatever movies or videos he watches and whatever stories his friends tell him and his friends are probably just as inexperienced as him.

This doesn’t make him a horrible kisser though, -and after a lot of practice (make out sessions with you) he definitely learns.

His kisses are desperate, vulnerable, and full of emotion. He kisses you as if it’s his last day on earth with you and he must savor every last bit of his time with you.

( L ) Love Confession - how do they confess their love?

If I’m being completely real, Vance is NOT the one to confess first. Like I said in the Vance hopper dating hcs, despite his whole tough guy act, he is not brave enough to confess anything to anyone so you would have to be the one to ask him out😔 but it would probably be something very simple like coming up to him at school or at the infamous Grab N Go and asking him out to a movie or whatever they were doing in the 70s
