Avery, High Half-Elf Paladin of Ilmater (he/him)
(I'll put a CW for slavery & non-con here)
• favorite weapon: Phalar Aluve. He hyperfixates on weapons, specifically longswords and maces. When he was younger (16/17) he wanted to be a bard, but he was sold to drow before that could happen. So when he found a longsword that could sing. 😩👌 (he started stimming immediately after finding out)
• style of combat: he prefers defence/healing but he can provide a good offense.
• most prized possession: the acorn Wyll gave him when he first proposed to him.
• deepest desire: he wants a child of his own.
• guilty pleasure: does a guilty kink count? he likes being bound, and he's ashamed of it because of his trauma. he has Wyll to help him realize it can be a normal and healthy way of processing his trauma; a corrective emotional experience because he's in control this time. (thank you Tuca & Bertie for teaching me this)
• best-kept secret: the others in the group know he was a Drow slave. But only Astarion & Wyll know he was a sex slave. (Astarion only knows because the tadpole connected similar memories)
• greatest strength: knowledge (he's had a lot of time to read)
• fatal flaw: he has a inferiority complex
• favorite smell: he loves floral scents, sunflower is his favorite.
• favorite spell or cantrip: Inflict Wounds. He especially enjoyed using it on Nere.
• bad habit: he masks his emotions as a defense mechanism, it's a habit he's trying to break.
• hidden talent: cooking; he ended up cooking with Gale because he doesn't do vegetables (he's the meat man) his favorite thing to cook is soup.
• leisure activity: reading, he loves fairy tales.
• favorite drink: red wine
• comfort food: potatoes in any form.
• favorite person: Wyll ❤️🤍❤️
• favored display of affection: he loves any form of affection, especially after only experiencing manipulative affection. Recently he's discovered his favorite is dancing.
• fondest childhood memory: Hearing a bard playing a lyre for the first time.
