Looking for advice. I have been going through a collection af family heirlooms that are mostly assorted lace pieces dating back to around the 1890s. They have some sentimental value, but that does no good if they are just sitting in storage boxes. I am looking for a good solution for these pieces and thought of donating to a museum, but I am not sure if they are something that a museum or anyone else would be interested in preserving. Any advice would be appreciated!

This sadly wasn't the main blog on my account. Here's the collar I've been working on. I just added the beads and I'm getting close to the neckline. I'm so happy with how this is going!

Also, I'm gonna do a deep dive on the math of tatting. Looking at things geometrically gets close, but I need to do a bunch of rings and chains to test how different numbers of stitches affect the width, height, and curvature of a piece because this is not perfect circles and lines and this information would be helpful for designing patterns in the future.
