OJT EATS | Tashas
A very short post this week but a very tasty one none the less. This week, we ended up having a quick brunch at Tashas in Battersea. Part of the new Power Station development, it's a South African place that's one of the first places you see as you walk from the Tube station towards the newly renovated power station. We were able to pop in for an early morning bite.
This was the Jett & Lukes which was 2 mini sliders with poached eggs, bacon, grilled onions and cheese all on a couple of sesame buns. These came with fried baby potatoes which were super crispy but also really light and fluffy on the inside. The sliders were pretty great too with perfectly poached eggs and a really good amount of thick cut bacon.
We also went for a chicken schnitzel sandwich which was huge! It was a pretty massive chicken breast breaded and fried very well with a chunky thousand island type sauce on it. The chicken was crunchy and really juicy and this was all in all a very tasty sandwich.
We only had the 2 dishes here this time but they were both good enough for us to want to come back and try more. With its handy location right by Battersea Power Station, it's definitely worth a visit and if you happen to be looking for one of the largest schnitzel sandwiches, you won't be going too far wrong here!
