Demon Tartini anyone?
I know this is kind of a quick messy drawing and I got his face shape wrong because I tried to slim him down a bit for backstory/worldbuilding reasons. Bear with me. I’m tired and unwell today. I’ll draw him again and it’ll look better, the first drawing of someone just always looks wrong.
Excuses aside, it’s demon Tartini and I’ll draw him again. My version of him actually has some scars thoug for worldbuilding reasons, and I’m not sure if I should draw him with those or not because they wouldn’t make sense without context. But also I wanna draw him as I envision him ...

i've been researching tartini and baroque performance practice the past week or so because i'm learning his d 45 concerto for a competition, so my professor kindly contacted a bow-maker and tartini expert to see if he had any helpful resources for me. this is all to say that said bow-maker and tartini expert obliged and sent me some translated letters of tartini, one of which says very clearly that the performer should practise changing dynamic throughout a single bow for at least (!) an hour every day.
