Normally Kiran was good at keeping control of the battle. She had been battling for her entire life. Normally nothing was too overwhelming but the more and more they were known by Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain, the more aggressive their enemies became. She more aggressive their forces became and it was getting harder to keep control of the playing field. Kiran was trying to keep control of the battlefield when she nearly faced an attack from an ogre.
Nearly. She would have faced a hell of an injury if that was the case but before she was attacked, Mercar took the brunt of her injury for her. It gave her the wake up call to get in control of the situation and pull together a plan before they headed back. Kiran couldn't help but feel...bad. She wish she had taken the hit. She didn't like letting her team down. She tried her best to protect them. She didn't want to feel like she was letting them down.
The Lighthouse gave her time to collect her thoughts and tend any scrapes but she knew she had to make sure he was fine so she went to find him where she normally found him in the music room, slowly opening the door.
"Hey..." If he hadn't noticed her coming in before, her voice would have alerted him, "How are you? That was a nasty hit from that ogre..."
