Mani Tomoe, from Puella Magi Magoka Magika, for @magical-batt: The Star, from Mystic Monday tarot! Her mentor vibes initially guided me towards the Empress but because she’s also a fierce fighter I wanted to choose something a little less soft; so here is the Star! It’s a symbol of hope and renewal and can definitely represent guidance, but it’s also a little sharp and a little lonely.

Puss in Boots, from Shrek and spinoffs, for @proudfreakselfshipper: Knight of Swords, from the classic Rider-Waitte deck! He’s such a classic main character: definitely has aspects of all the knight cards but emphasis on the sword, both in quick intellect and quick action.

Otis Driftwood, from House of 1000 Corpses, for @myers-meadow-selfship: The Wheel of Fortune, from the Nightmare Before Christmas deck! The Wheel of Fortune typically depicts the role of chance, but this particular wheel belongs to someone who manipulates the system: mostly I just wanted to find something that showed the amount that this character takes pleasure in their murder/chaos/etc and I thought this card was a nice touch, making a game out of it

Alhazad, from Wild ARMs, for @poetandwolf: Ace of Swords from the Raven Prophecy deck, but I really could have chosen the ace of swords from any of the decks, they all felt really fitting. The Ace of Swords represents pure intellect at the potential sacrifice of everything else; the drive to know and understand.

Thomas Hewitt, from Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, for @x-littlemoth: Ten of Needles from the Nightmare Before Christmas deck. This card is the equivalent of the Ten of Swords, which represents dark endings with the slim possibility of rebirth or restarting. In this card, that possibility of ‘rebirth’ is cast in an even darker tone with the needles shoved into the pincushion, ready to sew and reinvent

Cards Pulled: Ten of Swords, Ten of Wands, The Hermit, Justice~

This weekend feels like a major ending, but it also feels like the kind of ending that brings truth, balance, and relief, Air Sign.

With the Ten of Swords and Ten of Wands together, you may be realizing that something has become too heavy for you to keep carrying 💔

This could be emotional exhaustion, mental stress, a draining responsibility, or even the weight of you trying to hold everything together when you know deep down that something has already reached its limit.

The Hermit shows you pulling back, reflecting, and giving yourself space to process what you truly feel without everybody else’s noise in your ear❤️‍🩹

You may not be in the mood to explain yourself this weekend, and honestly, you do not need to.

The Justice says that the truth is becoming clear. Something is being weighed, revealed, or corrected.

This can also point to consequences, accountability, or a decision being made from a place of fairness rather than emotion.

This weekend, Air signs, choose peace over pressure. You do not have to keep carrying what has already shown you it is too heavy.

Something may be ending, but it is ending so balance can be restored

Baby, this person couldn’t stop dealing with you if they tried. I’m just saying…

Their feelings popped back up out of nowhere. Page of Cups and Page of Wands says that this person caught an emotional itch and a sudden urge at the same time.

One minute, they are pretending that they’re fine, the next minute they’re curious, reminiscing, wondering what you’re doing, wondering if you’re still that same person 👀👀

The reach out from them will not be planned. This is impulsive energy. This is their emotions slipping past their pride.

Chileee…

Ten of Pentacles reversed and Three of Cups reversed shows them realizing that something in their life is not hitting like they thought it would. The stability, happiness, or “I made the right choice” fantasy is cracking.

They feel disconnected, socially off, and low-key lonely. Whatever they thought would replace you emotionally did not do the job, and now they’re sitting with that emptiness.

Poor lil tink tink. Are we supposed to feel sorry for you? 😮‍💨

Five of Pentacles is the real gag. That’s this individual feeling left out in the cold emotionally, missing you, missing the warmth, missing the sense of being chosen by you.

This is the “why does this still hurt?” card. They might have previously had you blocked online, but have since then unblocked you because they didn’t want to feel abandoned by you anymore, even if they were the one who likely created the distance.

Please make it make sense, and make the sense make that, because It makes NONE 😒

Strength shows them trying to act mature about it. They’re telling themselves to stay calm, to not react, to not reach out, to just silently creep back in on you and to see what happens.

But don’t get it twisted: this is restraint, not healing. They’re holding feelings down, not actively resolving them.

Five of Wands says that internally they’re fighting self. One part of them wants to act like they don’t care, another part of them want to engage, another part is mad that they even feel this way. It’s messy in their head.

The Emperor shows them trying to regain control and dignity like “let me at least look unbothered,” even though emotionally they are anything BUT UNBOTHERED…

Nine of Wands is them exhausted but still watching. Tired. Guarded. Pretending they’re over it. But still very much clocking your presence. They’re worn out from fighting their own feelings, but this person is not done.
