If you're still accepting things for the tarokka reading: My poor Lawful good, former guard fighter girl who lost her lover in a duel wants to know if she should pursue vengeance or let the Law do its job (which will not happen) and if she should move on. The campaign is about dragons returning to the world and she already met 4 of them (in disguises)! Would be honoured to be selected ^^
The crux of the matter is this:
Three of Coins - the Trader. For either action you take, a cost must be paid. What will be lost for your love to be avenged, and who will pay it? Or, should you decide to forsake that task, do you know fully what you will pay?
Three of Swords - the Soldier. The cards perceive that your lover died in an act of sacrifice. Do you know what they had gambled their life for? If indeed it is a sacrifice, will your vengeance undo their dying act?
Five of Swords - the Myrmidon. On your path, the cards see greatness, and a promise of victory over your mighty foe. Will you turn back from this, to pursue your own quest of vengeance?
Eight of Swords - the Dictator. If you rely on the agents of Law to carry out your vengeance, it is as you thought, it will not avail you. All that the Dictator knows is the cold steel of sword and silken leather whip. He is not wise enough to carry the Balance of Judgement.
Two of Glyphs - the Missionary. What instead will happen, should your lover remain unavenged, rumor and malice will bury the truth, and your lover's name will be tarnished among their peers. He will not be remembered fondly.
So indeed here is the Trader's offer, for a price, if you are willing to pay. Your lover, unavenged, rumored to be a scoundrel, and in exchange, a promise of victory in your quest.
