gifset per buffy episode - welcome to the hellmouth 

there’s some tears in this house there’s some tears in this house. you and me both hon 😢 sorry for spamming you guys with such depressing stuff every day tho, we’re really going through it. ♡

ANYWAY, always happy to make myself even sadder so i shared what was going on in my head when i was making that last gifset here ♡ i feel for klaus so much, i truly believe he’s such a flawed, beautifully human character and so many things about him make me smile and so many others break my heart. i guess the main thing for me is how painstakingly obvious his love for his siblings is. in the few instances they are able to share a real moment between them, letting themselves being vulnerable, klaus doesn’t hold back, he really gives it all. he’s so eager to help, to soothe, he’s not always good at it but the intent is there and it speaks volumes about the loneliness he feels, i think. 

he doesn’t take good care of himself, he’s self destructive, he can be shallow, indifferent, bitter, almost apathetic on the surface. but to me it feels like sometimes he acts that way because he feels like there’s no other way for him to live. he needs the drugs, he needs to be on the move, he needs the numbness, he needs the constant stimuli, he needs to feel alive so that he can keep the ghosts separated from the rest. but he would never want that for his siblings. he admires them so much, he respects them and he loves them, to his eyes they’re all capable of greater things than him and he wants for them to believe they can be better than him. he consciously sets himself as the lowest bar. 

he saw clearly through reginald’s abuse even though he shouldered maybe the worst of it, physically and mentally speaking. but he tries to snap luther out of it, he tries to be there for him, he confides in diego, he tries to play his part in protecting him, he feels for vanya, he doesn’t hold their past against her, he goes with five’s plans, he trusts his lead, he jumps into allison’s arms, he’s happy to know her safe and content. with ben everything is harder because ben saw through his mask, ben knows him, good and ugly, with ben he can’t pretend, he can’t make himself look stronger or aloof. with ben he’s vulnerable all the time and when he feels vulnerable he strikes back, so better for ben to be angry and frustrated with him because if he’s not that, he’d be worried, maybe he’d pity him, he would be sad and klaus can’t do anything about that. he can’t try to help his brother feel better if the cause of his sadness it’s him because he doesn’t know how to make himself feel better.
