Nice and relatively well edited/selected list of the Top 100 Movies of the 21st Century from the NY Times. As you can see from the above image, I am proud to report that as of today, I’ve seen 62 of these fine feature films. For what it is worth, there are several of the remaining 38 that are on my ‘to watch’ list which would have brought that total up a bit higher.

one of my most exciting finds in the vhs collecting universe!
this is a very sought-after tape. it's always expensive, and that trend continued with this copy.. my sister bought it from under me (for me) after i had put it back because it was too expensive 😭 it plays too!! it seems like it hasn't been played in a long time, so im going to do some troubleshooting to fix the crackling audio. fortunately i have the world of information in my hands, so my options are abundant, and i can rest easily knowing it's a fixable issue.

had to buy a new copy of grease because my other one has an hour of interview to fast forward through before getting to the movie.. if you're a collector, avoid the 25th anniversary edition of grease unless you want the interviews-- it's honestly a terrible idea to put out a home-release on VHS with the special features at the beginning of the reel instead of the end..
