Júliusi debreceni menedékeim. A Campus ideje alatt a Kossuth koliban laktam, amit ismét nagyon élveztem. Ráadásul idén a Debreceni Egyetem főépületére volt kilátásom. Jó évente pár napig újra kolisnak lenni.

A fesztivál utáni napokban meg Kossuth térnél található Ez az a ház apartmanban volt szerencsém lakni, ami bár nem a Nagytemplomra néz, de nem bántam, mert a csodálatos art déco stílusban épült Sajó-házat nézhettem esténként. Köszönet érte a Tankcsapdának!

Reverie/Harlequin Forest and The Night and the Silent Water - Opeth: I was obsessed with Opeth in my first two years of university. every time I listen to early, black metal inspired Opeth, I can see myself walking in a cold, dark, scandinavian forest. which I did in my when I was doing Erasmus!

My nostalgic, old hungarian favourites:

Don Quijote, 220 felett and Santa Maria - Neoton Família: Bonny M-esque hungarian band with stupid songs that were the absolute staples of every family party I had attended. you know, the "let's do karaoke" types lol

A Walesi bárdok, Szent László and Szondi két apródja - Dalriada: hungarian folk metal band, adapting one of the most iconic hun poet, Arany János. i was so annoying about this in high school.

A háború gyermeke and Kár minden szó - Pokolgép: Kalapács era of Pokolgép is probably essential to every hungarian kid who becomes interested in heavy metal. a horribly sounding band. recording techniques and studios were not exactly refined in Hungary up until... 2010s? (reminder again: fuck the soviet union)

In the last 8 years I was really disappointed in Tankcsapda, my first favourite band due to their flop releases and shitty political positioning. But man, their stuff up until 2014, and especially the early years, still so important to me.
