Grammy and Emmy-award winning comedian and The Daily Show host Jon Stewart will make his debut at Tanglewood this summer.
Grammy and Emmy-award winning comedian and The Daily Show host Jon Stewart will make his debut at Tanglewood this summer.
Stewart is renowned for his comedy and social and political commentary, hosting the satirical news program The Daily Show on Comedy Central from 1999 to 2015 and returning part-time in 2024. He is also a social activist who has helped to major legislation in the federal government, including the PACT Act and the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Bill.
The comedian will present his solo comedy show in the Koussevitzsky Music Shed at Tanglewood on Saturday, June 20, at 7pm. The performance will open with Stewart playing on drums alongside his band Church and State.
Tickets go on sale Monday, March 23, at 10am at tanglewood.org.
