Casts aren't as much my thing as a rule, but handsome Tamati was just too sexy to pass up. It's probably his toes sticking out of the cast, because I do have a thing for feet.

another thing that has been in my files for a while
When there are mangrove-like trees at the reefs, maanuls will build into the roots of these trees. Making homes out of plant-like fibers and even colorful shells or scales to hand at the entrances. The homes hang directly above the water, as at night the bioluminescence of the reefs gives them a beautiful show to look at and it also gives them easy access to the water.
Tamatis who are curious by nature might come under the homes of maanuls to inspect it, and maanuls who are fond of wildlife will throw fruits and hardshell nuts into to water for them to catch. Tamatis who had markings that resembled eyes(like in the image) were given more food as maanuls thought they were direct children of haanu, as they associate stylized eyes with their diety. With time more individuals ended up having these special markings as they would end up being more cared for by maanuls (more food, will pick parasites off, and more)
tamatis going under the hanging homes might blow air out of their opperculums (who shifted to near their necks) as it's their way to be playful. Kids will find it funny, but for adult maanuls it depends on their personality. Some might not appreciate having water blown on their face paint that took time.
Malosi ends up confronting both his father and the mysterious Pokemon from the previous night. Meanwhile another party continues the search for their prey.
