Hey I got a question about your talon fic. Why dose dick want her to be leader when she dosent? Because he loves her or he just wants her in control?
A few reasons.
He can only be a Talon for the leader, if she is anything else he can't be her Talon it doesn't occur to him that he can be something else, it's all he knows. Leaders very very rarely step down, they get killed before that happens mostly for power reasons and he doesn't want her to die, though he would kill anyone that tried it.
In his mind she is safest as the leader, she's the best to lead, and he is by her side this way.
