now that i’ve had time to think about whatever the hell that race was yesterday, i am so glad that that was the race that i finally bit the bullet and bought fox one for.
i know talladega will always take no prisoners and i think it was a fantastic race to just sit back and enjoy the chaos. races like this are what make motorsports worth watching.
it reminded me of silverstone 2025 where nico hulkenburg managed to get his first podium and there wasn’t a single dry eye in the entire fan base because nico hulkenburg got his first podium at silverstone in a sauber of all cars. i cried. you cried. fuck it we all cried.
but that’s what racing is all about- moments like that when the unexpected happened.
i’m so proud of carson. hell i’m so proud of everyone who managed to limp back after The Big One and get their car on track again to continue racing
but also can the commentators stop bringing up chris’s loss to k*le l*rson in Kansas 😭 like this poor man cannot live that down
