Just now remembered how much I loved tall shadow warrior cats. She's like the hollyleaf before hollyleaf. Protoleaf. Like I remember wishing that hollyleaf was a reincarnation of her just cause it would be cool. Anyway I really love analytical black cats, it's just a law in my brain now, Nightstar is also one of my favorites because of this.
My silly headcanon of the day is that Tall Shadow's family are all descendants from Broken Shadow, and they have the tradition of putting "Shadow" in the name of each and every cat. Tall Shadow, Moon Shadow, Sun Shadow, Crow Shadow(Muzzle), Dancing Shadow(Leaf), etc.
There have been a few that, for one reason or another, were named something different (like certain🍃), but all of them met unfortunate and often grisly ends, which reinforced the idea that they had to keeping naming the newer generations "Shadow". Whether the name protected them, or they were cursed, they could never be sure. Maybe it was all just a coincidence...
The tradition was kinda lost at some point during ShadowClan early history. Though it influenced new traditions, such as assigning suffixes not to individual cats, but to the litter as a whole, as well as the belief that "the shadows themselves protect every ShadowClan cat".
