Usiku had fought a battle of impossible odds, trying to prepare Zephyrus. A lone male lion's odds of surviving the nomadic stage of his life were incredibly slim. Usiku himself wouldn't have survived if he hadn't met Mchana when he did.

Again, with the scammers. Two this week...which is an improvement from the seeming dozens I was getting. It's disappointing to have the only people write me about my work are people who want to trick me into giving them money for nothing. Not that I have any to spend.
I keep being stubbornly optimistic about my work in hopes of somebody writing me back that is genuinely interested in it.
Anyway, this chapter covers how he acquired a dragon for a daughter. Very dramatic. The baby dragon is adorable and full of mischief. She screeched loud enough to wake the dead at first and drove off Johnny's talking rat companion who can teleport, Goldie. She was all too happy to be employed as messenger that time.
Yes, this is an mpreg. It was a personal writing challenge to take a single plot stinker and turn it into a good story. That's it. There's no fetish anything. No kink. Most of the romance is just suggested. The story is balanced. Nothing gets too much focus. It still needs some editing and I'm slowly working on that. I wish I could work with an editor, but that's a long way off. If I can ever afford one.
