Hannah has agreed to meet Jae in that same bar they always go to indulge in a bit of rum. Despite working together and seeing each other, that’s all they have been doing, working. No time for each other, the summer is a high season where apparently everyone wants a damn tattoo, which she wasn’t complaining about, but they surely needed some time for themselves to unwind and just have fun.
She has arrived a bit earlier than the time they agreed to meet, so she ordered a drink in automatic as she slightly brushed hair off her shoulders and glanced at the door in hopes to see a familiar face even though she knew she had to wait at least another twenty minutes.
It was not until the drink was placed in front of her that her mind got flooded with the sweetest memories. She actually tried this drink the first time the same day she met Jae in this lifetime. He ordered for her and she blindly trusted him. She chuckled to herself stirring the drink a little. He was a complete stranger yet she let him not only approach out of nowhere, she also allowed him to choose her drink and charm the living hell out of her. Which was odd, Hannah has never been one to like strangers, but from the second he approached all she felt was ease and a very warm sensation that back then she really couldn’t understand. The memories once more made her smile as she gingerly sipped from her glass.
