i really didn't need another ship, but can I just say I love the relationship between Takoda and Steve on Happy's Place? The way Takoda goes out of his way to make others feel safe is... 🫠When Steve tells him that Takoda's mismatched socks bother him to the point of talking to his therapist about it, Takoda immediately starts wearing socks that are the same color (though Steve notices they aren't the same shade).
The fact that that level of respect is reciprocated from Steve to Takoda is even more 🫠🫠. Steve acknowledges that it's his problem and he's used to people going out of their way to make him uncomfortable, but Takoda did the opposite--a first for Steve. And, fighting against his OCD fear, he not only gives Takoda mismatched socks to specifically wear at work, Steve himself wears the other mismatched pair so that the two of them mismatch together.
Even though Takoda is married and has children on the show, I totally ship them.
