Nuova alba, stessa strada
Parte lei. Take It Easy degli Eagles.
"Take it easy, don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy" – prendila con calma, non lasciare che il rumore delle tue stesse ruote ti faccia impazzire.
Oggi il mio Buongiorno per voi e per me è: Take it easy...

RUNNING
I never thought that I'd enjoy the act of running - But it has changed me completely. It was an impulsive moment (I downloaded the running app and I began to run - It is kind of insane cause I hated the notion of running - But almost all of that has changed) I woke up excited and ready to run today and I ran by the river (As the sun came up - There were a lot of other runners out there as well) It was great. And I am not someone who is athletic - but running for the past few days has affected me and everyone's right for the most part about running in the morning...This comes from someone who hated it. I ran 3.61 km today (Non stop - steady pace).
So, I thought I'd share some tips that helped me along the way (These are not tips about sportswear or diets or anything like that). I also don't do like long long runs (like 10km)
It helps to have a running app (it monitors your distance - pace and gives you guided runs which can be helpful for everyone. I for one start way too fast and it helps to have that voice...telling you to run slow - It also keeps records about the distance and the pace which is also great)
It helps to have shoes well tied (Not too tight or anything but not too lose - Just right) Also, a sturdy pair of socks will get you far.
I think peanut butter and bananas are elite (But if you do have any allergies it's good to find something that gives you that energy for the short morning run - A banana is my go to or like oatmeal sometimes is my go to but having that pre run energy is important)
WATER.
Music. A workout playlist helps you to get started and God that could literally be it - Mine features ABBA - Taylor Swift - Queen - Bowie - Springsteen - Sam Fender - Chappell Roan - Noah Kahan (Homesick ft. Sam fender and Northern Attititude ft. Hozier ft. Hozier Yell) Like a Prayer (Deadpool version)
If you have any concerns about your health and any underlying disease consult a doctor before running.
Start slow and build a pace up.
If you're running through the green (trees and fields) take it all in. I know that with everything not everyone is fortunate to have scenic jogging routes. I have taken that for granted, and it's one of my biggest regrets.
9. Give yourself pep talks and encourage yourseld to keep going. But it's okay to slow down and adjust your pace.
10. You just have to start. I know it sounds cheesy but it's all about starting the journey. It doesn't exactly matter how far you can go or what your pace is at first. You just need to start. I remember never wanting to run and now I just want to run everyday (again - I don't want to run too fast or anything - I just want to run)
Sorry for my yap guys. If you're running don't run it as a punishment. Run it to enjoy it. Enjoy the run, live in the moment. It isn't easy at first, believe me I knoow that feeling all too well. Just take it one step at a time. And remember the wise words of Steven Meeks...
'Carpe Diem. It means Seize the day'
