Tell me/us about Taika!! Who would come for her when she was kidnapped? Who would kidnap her? What kind of stories does she fit into?
She's my sweet, timid White Mage in my Final Fantasy 1 playthroughs! She hates fighting and blood, but she swallowed all that to heal anyone who was hurt or dying using her White Magic! She's not assertive at all, though she did go through some character development to be more so, and she won't back down since!
She's currently married to my Red Mage, Veles, whom Taika had a huge crush on during their adventures together. She's also close friends with Drusus and Keme, who also traveled with them to save the world! She acts motherly to them, and gets slightly annoyed, ESPECIALLY at Keme, whenever she ignores her orders to rest or be careful XD
I imagine some bandits or even Garland, the team's arch nemesis, would target her, as she's not much of a fighter (White Mages like her are mainly healers!) Maybe some used as bait scenarios, or a held for ransom scenario. Maybe Veles' murderous father might kidnap Taika to lure out his son for a final fight, who knows!
As for stories she would fit into... kidnappings and ransom/bait demands, of course, but also when she, as the main healer, gets hurt/sick herself or when she exhausts herself from using too much of her magic! >:)
