furality gang
Back on this year's furality I was hanging out with BlaqkCat and StarMaynn and we took a picture together at the hover bikes in the corner of the lobby, that gave me an idea for a picture of or avatars as a little gang hah, I did the sketch back then, but only managed to pick it up and finish now;;;;
The Legend of the Laundry Dragon
Fluffy stood before the colossal mountain of laundry, his reddish-brown eyes narrowed with determination. The pile loomed like a great beast, ist folds of fabric writhing as though alive. The socks at the peak swayed ominously, and the faint scent of forgotten gym clothes wafted through the air. His mane-like fur fluffed up in response to the sheer magnitude of the challenge ahead.
„There it is,“ Fluffy whispered, his voice low and filled with gravity. „The Laundry Dragon.“
He clutched his wooden broom like a mighty spear, brandishing it with the skill of a seasoned warrior. His tail twitched, the purple edges flaring as if in tune with the rising tension. To the untrained eye, the pile of clothes sitting in the corner of his small apartment looked quite ordinary. But to Fluffy, this was no mere domestic chore. No, this was a battle for the ages, a clash of titans, a test of courage that would be spoken of for generations.
„Legend has it,“ he muttered, crouching low in a heroic stance, „that this creature has devoured entire kingdoms of socks, never to return them to the realm of matched pairs. Ist belly is a bottomless pit of static and despair.“
A bead of sweat trickled down Fluffy’s fur-covered brow as he approached the laundry hamper. The creature was still asleep, ist snores rustling through the curtains. He could hear the faint cries of the lost socks echoing from ist depths. His keen Taidum ears twitched. “Poor souls…”
With a flourish, Fluffy extended his broom-spear toward the pile and poked at a crumpled t-shirt, testing the waters. It shifted. The pile moved, a low rumble shaking the very floor of his apartment. The Laundry Dragon was waking up.
„I’ve disturbed ist slumber!“ Fluffy gasped, quickly leaping behind the couch for cover. His tail flicked nervously as the creature stirred. Shirts and pants began to slide from the summit, a cascade of cotton and denim raining down, forming a thick fog of lint in the air. A single sock, black and ominous, slithered down the heap like a serpent.
„This… will not be easy,“ he said under his breath. He wiped his brow and emerged from his hiding spot, broom held aloft once more. „But no quest worth telling ever is.“
With a fierce cry, Fluffy launched himself at the pile, grabbing hold of a bundle of towels. The Laundry Dragon roared — or at least, it made a sound suspiciously like the fabric softener bottle tipping over, but to Fluffy, it was the beast’s fiery breath. He spun in circles, swinging the towels like a pair of nunchucks, his small, sharp teeth bared in a grin of pure exhilaration.
„I shall free you, oh captives of the sock drawer!“ he declared, pulling a pair of mismatched socks from the heap and tossing them to safety. „Your days of servitude are over!“
But the Laundry Dragon fought back fiercely. A tangle of bedsheets unfurled, whipping toward Fluffy like the tendrils of some great leviathan. He ducked, dodging and weaving with nimble agility, his digitigrade legs propelling him across the room in quick, bouncy leaps. „Not today, foul creature!“
Just then, the mountain quivered — a wave of sweatpants and T-shirts rumbled down from the summit, as though the dragon itself had drawn in a deep breath. The pile breathed, the socks pulsing like scales. Fluffy’s heart raced, his purple-tinged ears standing straight up. He crouched low, staring at the heap with intensity. „It’s preparing ist final attack… the dreaded Socknado!“
With a mighty roar, the Laundry Dragon unleashed ist power. Socks of all colors and sizes shot into the air, spinning in a vortex of fabric. The winds howled — or rather, the ceiling fan wobbled slightly as it clicked against a loose chain — but in Fluffy’s mind, this was a storm to rival the end of the world.
Fluffy planted his paws firmly on the floor, grabbing the laundry basket with both hands. „Hold steady! We mustn’t be swept away!“ he cried to the imaginary adventurers at his side. His long tail whipped behind him like a battle flag as he pushed forward into the gale. Socks flew past his head, one grazing his ear, another attaching itself to his mane. „We will not falter!“
With a heroic leap, Fluffy landed at the peak of the laundry pile, planting the broom-spear into the center. „Begone, foul beast!“ he shouted, shaking his fist at the mountain of clothes. „Return to the void from whence you came!“ And with one mighty thrust, he pushed the pile — toppling it over into the waiting basket below.
A hush fell over the room as the last of the socks settled, tumbling lazily into the basket. The Laundry Dragon had been defeated. Fluffy stood atop the pile, chest heaving, a lone sock draped over his ear like a crown of victory. His tail wagged triumphantly.
„Thus, the realm of Fluffland is saved from the tyranny of dirty laundry!“ he declared, raising his broom high in the air. His eyes sparkled with the thrill of victory, his fur wild and untamed, as if he had truly emerged from an epic battle.
Just then, there was a knock at the door.
Fluffy spun around to see his neighbor, Mrs. Cartwright, peering in with an eyebrow raised. “Everything okay in there, dear? I heard… a lot of noise.”
Fluffy froze, mid-heroic pose, broom still held aloft like Excalibur. His wide eyes darted from the mountain of laundry to the concerned woman at his door. After a long pause, he smiled sheepishly. “Uh… yes, Mrs. Cartwright! Just… vanquishing a dragon. You know how it is.”
She blinked, glancing over the scene — socks everywhere, towels strewn across the floor, Fluffy standing on a pile of freshly defeated laundry with a towel-cape draped over his shoulder.
“I see…” she said slowly. “Well, keep up the good work.”
As she turned and left, Fluffy let out a long, relieved sigh. His mischievous grin returned.
“Another battle won. Another day saved,” he murmured, hopping off the pile with a bounce in his step. His tail twitched happily as he set about folding the laundry.
After all, the battle may have been over, but the quest of the Laundry Hero? That never ended.
