Sometimes biracial or multiracial actresses are playing a role where their race may not be mentioned or implied in the content, and I'll look at them with squinting, sometimes do a double take, sometimes a triple, and then sometimes, I simply gotta go on and go look it up. I thought it might be interesting to jog down my memory and gather up some of the ambiguous performers.
And then, as I was doing that, I ran into some other ones and went head and threw them in.
These are celebrities who range from the ones I looked at and thought, "Definitely there's some Black in her," to ones that I wouldn't know if I didn't find out somewhere, randomly. Some are ones who I maybe discovered a kid and because of that, I know. Some are ones that I didn't know without context in the content I saw them in, or them saying so.
Y'all know that I love a list.
This list lends space to the girls and ladies who maybe feel like they gotta pull out a photo of their parents to utilize their Black card. I feel like almost every actress on this list can get away with playing white roles and I wanna see them ALL go out there and snatch them thangs up willy-nilly. That's the future that I want. Put some of them into FCs for white people sometimes! Flip the script in fandoms.

(If its less than a quarter of Black, friend, I am not including that lady. You can at your house, but I won't be doing it here, unless I can personally can see it. White passing is not real to me. If you pass, that's white, just claim it and occupy them white spaces and get your things over there. They've got privilege to spare. I will not be debating this. Argue with ya mama).
Shoutout to Rashida Jones. She be out there in the roles that fit her situation, even though, yes when I saw her as a teen, I was like "Wow. A white woman named Rashida. Bizarre."
I would have shouted out Hailee for always being in the white roles she knows she should, but I do remember her on some zionist bs, even if y'all don't and that person that was out there tryna argue with me that she ain't a white woman ain't change nothing for me because I got two eyes and they work enough. Muffuggas be tryna pull out papers. File those elsewhere, Beloved.
And finally, you may also be wondering, why are there some "known" Afro-Latinas here? That's because communications about Blackness in certain communities haven't always been what they are right now. And there's still a lotta "I no Black" ass obviously Afro-ish folk walking around.
I'm not tryna just be putting folk where they don't aim to be. So, if I'VE never seen, heard, or was able to find any evidence of them CLAIMING their Blackness, I don't include them, and I don't always know, so even if I think I see it, I mind my business until they've specifically said so. And sometimes, people will get on a whole nother side of the fence of what they identify as, and I simply will not be hunting folk down to try to see if I should include them. If I find out, I find out and if I don't, I don't.
We have plenty of entertainers out there. I won't run out of them, even if I can't find even HALF of the Black women in entertainment that I know on white ass Tumblr. MAYBE... They'll let some of these stretch out.
If you've been with me for a while on this blog, you know that there are no nonblack people's faces posted on this blog for all of November and December will have predominantly dark skinned representation, outside of the holiday things and some winter whatnots. So, I figured I would squeeze this in before then, since most of it has been in the drafts since March.
If you see somebody on the list and you think to yourself, "I didn't know that somebody Black was in her ancestry," or however, I promise, you don't have to come to me about it. Nobody is on here that haven't mentioned or been reported as having somebody Black somewhere in the family that led to them. I am not a person that tries to pull folks in who don't want to be present, nor do I simply accept every and anybody. Blackfishing? Never happened to me.
