Thank you @chaushaus for tagging me!
So, seeing as Rolim already is a spawn in the AU he exists in, let me tell you about his Companion!AU and his Evil!AU...
Rolim will start out (much like Gale) biased against Ascension. But if the PC pushes him to make more and more selfish choices, he will eventually be convinced to do it.
But the moment he consumes all 7000 souls, he realizes he's become a monster and attacks the party in a fit of rage.
There is no AU where Rolim becomes a true vampire and lives.
Things go as they should, and Rolim is turned mortal again, but after he wishes the 7000 back to life, things go downhill.
See, in his canon, Vincent and Xandris are determined to kill those who want to continue where they left off (a life of crime). But Rolim tells them not to; instead, they're rehabilitated and resocialized.
Many of them actually do turn their lives around.
But in Rolim's Evil!AU many of them don't. And Ro feels guilty for every hurt and every death these people dish out to the point where he eventually snaps and goes to hunt them all down.
Once they're all dead, he turns his attention to other criminals, but instead of staying a vigilante, he worms his way into the council and passes stricter and stricter laws.
He becomes a dictator who punishes even stealing as harshly as possible, but to him, it is utopia.
He doesn't realize people are living in constant fear of even frowning, thinking he might punish them next.
The inspiration for this AU comes from the "too good" world of Charmed. (I can't find a clip on YouTube right now, but in one of those episodes, Phoebe is shot simply for false parking. So yeah, think of Rolim passing laws like that all while believing he's preventing greater crimes by doing so.)
And now, tagging @nw39 @denesmera @optimisticgrey @lottavilja and whoever else wants to grab one!
