currently reading: i started Frankenstein a While ago and didn’t end up finishing it… i should get back to that… other than that (though this one’s not a book) i read the first few chapters of Hand Jumper on webtoon a few days ago

last series: i’m watching Revolutionary Girl Utena slowly, last completed would technically be Witch Hat Atelier i think

last movie: not fully sure but probably Backrooms

1. What the thing you last consumed? Cake and pastry<3 sugar(diabetes) my beloved

2. When did you go to sleep last night? Around 10am I think (I went to bed at 5am cuz I wanted to sleep early🤡)

3. When you wake up this morning? Hmm? 7pm (no morning for me)

4. Do you ever shut up? Yeah sometimes (i actually don't talk much in real life) (that is a lie) (well it depends ok)

5. Do you still sleep with stuffed animals? This is a funny question cuz i slept with stuffed animals until i was 13. I don't remember why i stopped. But a few years ago(i was 20 i think) i thought of it and how comforting it was to sleep with one so i got another one and tried it again and it sucked because i constantly woke up because it would slip out of my arms

6. What is your favourite gender? not your gender. your favourite. Been thinking about this for a few minutes and i don't think i have one

7. What is your least favourite colour? Orange

@fenhawkes tagged me in a 9 books i'd like to read this year sort of thing and it sounded like fun! especially to take stock now that we're in the middle of the year hehe.

some, like moby dick and ensaio sobre a lucidez, have been on my radar for years on end (my white whales, if you will) and i'd like this to be the year when i finally take the plunge. some i will have to do some prep for (namely anti-oedipus, for which i think i should reread marx's das kapital since it's been...... nearly 15 years since i've done so; prolly reground myself in critical theory, i do have a collection of essays on critical thinkers from uni that will be good for this). this is how you lose the time war i will read when the gf comes since she has it <3 and i am just about to begin is a river alive?, as in today. really excited for it since i saw robert macfarlane's interview with david perell. when i sing, mountains dance will certainly be a june read since i do have the book hehe. i already know that água viva and nobodaddy's children will likely change my relationship with language. and taiwan travelogue plays with a lot of things that i believe will resonate deeply with me.

honorary mention to piranesi, which i started yesterday, and anything by henrique de sena fernandes, who is my fellow macanese. i also want to look into goan authors.
