Hyungsik, Tae’s friend and Wooga member, follows JK’s IG around 4/22/26. Now Peakboy, another Wooga member and Tae’s friend, follows JK’s IG.

Back when Jk had his old IG, Wooshik, another Wooga squad member and Tae’s friend, had only followed him and Tae. To this day I have found that to be telling and meaningful.

Jk appears at the start of one of Tae’s IG stories, with the ending showing him and Jin. Jk makes a peace sign at the camera and cutely says, “let’s go!” In the video.

A reporter mentions Jk and Tae look like a couple with matching masks. Jk quickly glances at Tae as he rapidly agrees, which makes Tae get shy and giggle before saying the mask he’s wearing is Jk’s. Tae doesn’t disagree with the couple comment either.

Jk goes on live, with Jin making an appearance. Tae joins in the final couple minutes, when it’s just Jk on the live. Jk makes sure to seemingly warn Tae he is live as he comes in. Jk briefly sings Tae’s famous line in “Jump” before they chat.

Taekook grab each other’s shirts with their bodies pressed into each other during “body to body.” Their body language is telling, because their pelvis’s touch which shows extreme comfort with each other. The movement in itself is also interesting because Jk appears to create distance and pull the shirt horizontally rather than upward. Some fans interpret that as him instinctively avoiding pulling Tae’s shirt up further, while others see it as a simple reaction to the stretchy fabric. Either way, it’s a small detail that stands out when viewed frame by frame.

This continues to frustrate me. Jk and Tae both clearly want Jk to sit by him. Tae even briefly tugs on his jacket and Jk turns to sit by him. Unfortunately, Jin gets there first and doesn’t create space (and this is just me being factual and you can see the video for yourself) so Jk is not able to sit by Tae. Of course, you’re able to feel the way you do about these things, but it continues to happen and I know if I was in the same situation, as an adult, I’d be incredibly frustrated if I couldn’t sit by my person.

But how domestic and telling is it that Jk is so attuned to Tae’s antics that he anticipated what he’d do and caught his kick before Tae landed? It’s another instance of closeness and familiarity.
