Omg so much has happened right? Even guessing Taekook would be louder after service, it’s still so surreal. I absolutely love seeing them so happy and thriving, what a wonderful era we are in💜

I’m trying to keep up with events and slowly get to being more active on twitter and Instagram again (I’m never going to be a daily poster but I’m slowly working to my level of active).

I’ve done my best to update the timeline but things are still pretty crazy in my personal life. My Japanese night class has been intense and exhausting. The next four classes are test based (oral, chapter, kanji / written, final). Not only that, as I prep and take three of the four tests, I start new accelerated courses my work is paying for me to take. I’ve made a personal goal to make 2026 my year of personal physical and mental growth after the challenges I have continued to deal with since last year, but it’s still overwhelming. The next batch of courses run through the end of the year so I’ll continue to be trying to balance FT work, college, life obligations and being active.

All of this is to say, as always, if anything is wrong in my posts please let me know! It’s not offensive to me. I’m trying my best but I know there’s a chance I’m missing things or mixing moments up. If you want or need to send links, send them on Twitter. Tumblr fights me with links and I don’t check IG much. I’m not in DMs to chat but I definitely read DMs for corrections, suggested adds, links etc.

With BTS on their world tour, I’ll probably carefully curate what I add to the timeline so I can balance my personal with archiving moments. Again, if you see something you’d like added, just let me know and I’ll do my best!

I’ve reblogged all new updates to 2026 but they’re private because I need to organize them into chronological order. My hope and goal is to do that in the next few days.

Suspicions that the significance of the date may come from taekook’s first kiss taking place, although all evidence indicates it would’ve been an isolated event at the time that they brushed off. This date is known as a significant date for them because they responded to each other’s love songs on this day in 2016. They also were spotted on a date in a nearby hotel (Namsan tower date) in 2018. We believe the first kiss could’ve happened on this date based on Jk’s song recommendation in March 2015 (see March section for more info but in short he recs an lgbtq song and screenshots “I want more” lyrics while writing “one more” in his tweet). We also concluded this based off of their dynamics. Taking into account the fact that Tae got drunk in September 2014 and kissed a Jimin doll, a possible explanation for a single kiss could be that Tae got drunk and took a risk in kissing a shocked Jk, but then backed off blaming the alcohol. In this scenario jk would have later realized he wanted to experience it once more but wasn’t brave enough & didn’t know if Tae really meant it.

Hobi posts a series of photos on IG, one being Taekook wearing matching jackets with their fingers laced together as they tightly hold hands. The jacket is “HUMAN x J-Hope human hope souvenir jacket”.

He also posted this photo of Taekook and Jimin at a meal. It’s so precious how Tae and Jk always sit by each other when they eat meals with others.

Based on the hand / foot challenge Taekook did on June 25/26, 2026, it’s now more apparent the thumb in the bottom left photo / hand in the bottom left photo of Tae’s post on this date is Jk.

I’m still not sure if Jk kisses Tae’s cheek, gently bites his ear, sniffs him, or something else. I really can’t tell. I’ve read so many different opinions and watched so many angles so I’ll just leave the pics and moment and you can decide. In any event, during “come over” Jk switches his mic to his other hand as he moves closer to Tae, and then does the below.

This moment is also so telling. When Jk cried, Tae repeatedly looked over, even though he was emotional too, giving Jk space to feel his emotions but being attentive to him should he need them. I saw a lot of talk about this so I’ll input my opinion. I remember during my birthday dinner last year, a succession of bad events caught up to me and I ended up sobbing in the restaurant and put my head down. My person and family gave me space, because holding me would’ve escalated my emotions. They knew what I needed and when I was ready for them, they helped in the ways I needed. I think this event is very telling how in tune Taekook are to each other, knowing when they need to step in and when they should give space for their person to feel emotional. This moment only reiterates and emphasizes, again, how strong their bond is.

The May sighting rumor has been deleted. Thank you so much to the people who flagged it as false🙏 I finished my second round of accelerated courses (I managed to cram two classes, 6 weeks of coursework into 1.5 weeks to get it done faster 😂) and I had hoped when it ended I could pick up on the timeline but now work has gotten busy. Some days I’m working 12+ hours, or logging back in late in the evening to see what else needs to be done. It’s been really exhausting so then it gets hard to find energy to look at more screens. All this to say, I tried to quickly update the timeline before I go to BTS in Baltimore (next week!) but I definitely missed things, like the rumored sighting, I saw it once, made a note to add it and never knew it got debunked.

So I just want to reiterate how appreciative I am when people (kindly) point out where I can fix things because I want to still do my best to keep things as accurate as possible as I archive moments❣️thank you so much, it’s been removed, and I’m sorry if anything else that’s posted is lacking. I always have fears about this, maybe it’s because I’m a perfectionist, and being on social media with how sensitive I am definitely doesn’t help, but please know I’m trying hard to do my best and keep up around adulting💓if anything I’ve recently posted could be worded better, do let me know. I try to write with care, respect and love to Taehyung and Jungkook. But I’m human and I have to be honest and admit these recent uploads are also being drafted after long work days, with minimal time to check real time updates, so I worry I’ve missed things and also that my brain isn’t at its best as I write things out🙏

Also, I was kind of in my feels as I uploaded these newest pieces. I watched BTS perform “Idol” in 2018 on AGT. Late 2018, early 2019 is when I really joined. Being a fan has changed my life in so many good ways. Talking to people who speak multiple languages inspired me to pick up Japanese, which has made me even closer to my Japanese dad. I’ve gotten my passion for writing back through this blog. They’ve helped me through harder times. And I’ve made lifelong friends, some of who I can’t wait to see and go to the concert with in Baltimore.

Not only that, Taekook got me into BTS, and they’ve always been my biases. And when I build these newer pieces, it continues to blow my mind how far they’ve come. 2018/2019 me would’ve never believed what 2026 me gets to witness. Taekook have come so far, I can’t stress enough how incredibly brave and inspiring they are. It’s truly such a great joy to see them happy and thriving. It warms my heart to see how deep their love and support is for each other, and I also find it incredible how so many years have passed and their bond just gets stronger, that they keep interacting with each other like it’s a fresh, new love. It’s beautiful to see. I joke to my friends this year especially seems like a second honeymoon era but it really feels like it!

They are under no obligation to share pieces of their private lives, but they do, and I’m so grateful for what they show. It’s honestly so mind blowing when I read back through past years and then upload new pieces. When they went to service, I told myself the best is yet to come, the next chapter is going to be so vibrant. And it really has been.

I’ll forever be thankful to Taehyung and Jungkook for the precious, personal memories and goals in my life, and I’m also so thankful for what they choose to share with us. All I want is for them to be happy, and it makes me happy to see that they are, indeed, happy. I don’t know if I’ve expressed myself well, but I hope I have. My heart is full of gratitude tonight 💜💚
