it isn't a surprise that one of the first people that kiha thought when he received the copy of his mini album after it was released, asking if he could give some copies out — not many of course — was taejoon. it only made sense to gift one of his best friends with his first solo work — of course not counting serendipity because there was no physical copy of it — and the main vocalist did spend quite a long time thinking and writing a special message to taejoon because it felt right, because taejoon was special and of course he deserved a special copy as well, the only one in the wold, just likes miles received his own only in the world album.

so he sends a message to taejoon first, asks if he's busy practicing and if kiha could stop by, also nagging the other to call it a night since it's getting late and he shouldn't overwork himself. ideally, the main vocalist would ask if taejoon doesn't want to go out for dinner because he has something important to give him — and to be fair, kiha does have plans for a meal anyway — but he feels like if he stalls too much then he'd feel too embarrassed by what he wrote, would feel like maybe he did too much and end up giving up on gifting taejoon the minialbum even though he already signed, already wrote on it and it'd be a little unconvenient to keep the album that was clearly for someone else.

kiha isn't surprised how easily taejoon says yes to his request, especially when he did specify that this was something important and unless the crescent member was too busy because then they could definitely reschedule to whenever he'd be more free — while praying that he wouldn't lose his courage in the meantime.

so, would there be anything more therapeutic than a little gaming session ? everything about video games brings him peace, reminding him of the nights spent giggling and making hushed jokes on his headset microphone with the meta members before they knew just how far they’d get. but now, he has even more friends to indulge with, and he’s incredibly grateful taejoon is one of his favorite companions. they got along well, and it only took a simple text in the middle of the night before one would find themselves on the other’s doorstep. this time, it was sebastian who’d landed on taejoon’s front porch, tattooed fingers knocking three times onto the wooden door. 

it still hadn’t even opened, and yet the sound of a twisting door knob is already enough for sebastian to sport a grin, the scenario familiar to him. without saying much, his intent is obvious - the snacks between his arms, comfy attire, and even the glasses he rarely wore in public, but perfect when a long night of contacts seemed anything but ideal. “ you down for a game night , or are you scared i’ll crush you in anything we play ? ” only seconds into the conversation, and he’s already trash talking. typical sebastian behavior.

Rushing out of the room as if her shoes had wheels, Jimin didn't notice the person walking down the corridor until it was too late and they bumped into each other. Not her proudest moment, but the girl gasped as if she had seen a ghost, her heart beating so fast against her ribcage it hurt and it took her a few moments to focus. This was exactly the reason why she shouldn't pay attention to anything Ikhyeon ever said.

When she realized it had been Taejoon, embarrassment washed through her as soft pink painted her cheeks. "I'm so sorry, sunbaenim!" She bowed a few times, hoping the other wasn't annoyed. Jimin would understand if he were. "I was just- Um, do you mind if I walk with you?" It was late and there weren't too many people around. Whilst she wanted to pretend she wasn't scared, she couldn't deal with the idea of being all on her own.

     plate more filled than the last few months, not only was he preparing for a drama but he was also preparing for a comeback with crescent. digits raking through his strands, fingertips grazing the sweat drenched hair that falls before his dulled hues. a tired breath accompanies the hunched over back as palms lower to press against his knees. he has heard the same song play for the thirtieth time and he was almost certain he could feel himself lose every bit of sanity he had left. 

     reverie filled with nothing but the script for true beauty, lines running over and over in his mind, as the music falls to the backdrop of the numerous tabs opened in his mind. he drops to a squat, feels the slight breeze brush against his temples as he falls back against the floor. the cold surface radiating through his black shirt as he feels his body heat leaving behind a stamp of all the sweat he had accumulated. 

     chuseok isn’t the most pleasant nor ideal time of year for her. constant reminders of a family lost to the insatiable desire for fame, a sister who was too consumed by work to let a moments glimpse be settled on her younger sister. a mother, who berates her youngest because her own dreams were crushed by the weight she has imposed on her own children. shoulders cracking beneath the pressure, she feels her neck tense up with slight hesitation as she lets her knuckles graze the door to taejoon’s apartment, uninvited. 

     the soft knocking falls weak as she lets a sigh escape from her lips, her own gaze falls to her hand, and she moves to knock again. more firm than the last, accompanied by a reluctant, “taejoon?” she feels almost bad for impeding onto his free time, perhaps he was out already during this time to his own family and friends. distant relatives gathering with the usual festivities around this time of year. she feels more like a burden than anything, no real place to settle, no real home to be in, no real support system that didn’t include someone to berate her down to the stripped core of her bleached bones.

Eyebrows furrowing, his fleshy lips curved into a pout. He was unsure if she took the fact that he suddenly stopped dancing the wrong way, just felt like stopping for the day, or something else—but regardless, he was surprised. “Is something wrong? Do you want to try a different song?”

One would be surprised to find out that Cherry of Dandelion was actually not too bad of a dancer. Yesㅡshe would never be on the same level as Yoojin and Lime but her style happened to be unique enough to stand out. The style she took on in her years as a trainee developed into one with fluidity and tenderness to the movements. It did not distract or appear unusual for the choreography given to the group so far.

However, she could not ignore the criticisms she received since her debutㅡparticularly those that came shortly after her appearance at the summer festival. She found herself unlucky to be put with others who happened to be superior in executing the sharp choreography of Destiny; it made her stand out like a sore thumb, regardless if she knew it by heart or not.

Since then, an attempt on her part was made to improve her execution of these sorts of dances. After consulting Phoenix members ( and becoming sore to the touch from learning Cherry Bomb ), the next best option was to consult Crescent's main dancer. It shocked her that he said yes. Perhaps nerves held her back, or she still happened to be utterly starstruck by his presence. Her utterance of those words of defeat came only from the self-doubt that bubbled up inside her chest. Seeing Joon execute the moves with easy ( naturally ) had her feeling subpar all over again. To no fault of his.
