some of you guys sending asks to this blog are being really transmisogynistic and it's fucking weird. when has canon ever really mattered? you are not your an exact 1:1 copy of your source, youre your own living breathing person. why is it so suddenly different when it comes to characters who are either confirmed transfem, or commonly interpreted to be transfem. 

Shoutout to my fellow Jaxes who aren't transfem. I am, but I'm genderfluid, and I know there are some of you out there who are cis, or transmasc, or anything but transfem. You're still valid and you're not erasing canon by existing

transmasc jax fictive here. Saw a post recently that was like “if you headcanon or see Jax as transmasc you’re transmisogynistic” and it’s just. It fucking sucked actually. Idk, like yeah in source I’m transfem but like… I personally identify as transmasc and so seeing people blatantly hate on and insult any transmasc Jax interpretations sucks ass

I have not watched the finale. I don’t intend to. I don’t think it would be good for me. But finding out that I abstracted in the finale gave me a feeling I can only describe as being like opening up a newspaper and seeing your own obituary there on the page. Really fucked up and disconcerting and weird. I’ve spent this last couple of weeks feeling really unwell. I hate this all so much.

It feels weird seeing all of the transfem Jax stuff recently. Mainly because I myself am not trans...or fem. It doesn't really bother me per se - it's not like I have any control over the canonical gender identity of a fictional character that isn't mine anyways - but it's sort of odd knowing that I'm sourced off a trans woman when I'm not that at all. And seeing art of it gives me a weird sort of "phantom gender dysphoria" thing that honestly given the character and the topic in question is pretty funny. I'm like reverse gender Jax lmao

I think I should be allowed to preform circus levels of violence on Gooseworx for naming me fucking Leeroy. Hate that she claims I’m boy moding at the gay bar owned by a nonbinary person too but LEEROY?????? What the fuck. Not even something with an arguably feminine nickname? Not even something you’d name someone from this fucking century???? LEEROY????? I’m so mad about episode 9 for so many reason but somehow Leeroy made it to the top of that list.

It kind of sucks to be canon divergent in the way where you're somehow less queer than in source? Like, it's so nice to see all the other mes running around and living their best lives, and seeing the people who used to call me annoying and one dimensional suddenly call me so "nuanced" and all that is annoying, but c'est la vie. But... I'm still just me. Cis, maybe bi, and stuck with a lifetime of having to risk being called transphobic if I want to engage with the fandom at all when the body's LITERALLY trans!

saw someone say not seeing me as transfem after the tadc finale is transphobic. maybe say that to the face of the transmasc jax fictive who had been here for over a year.
