The three-hour courtroom video was processed using computer vision techniques to extract a dataset of legal activities over time. Frames were sampled every 5seconds and analyzed with a Clip-based image classification model. The model compares the visual content of each frame with a predefined set of textual prompts describing courtroom activities.

Language: Analysing how language shapes behaviour, communication, and social norms.

Art: Exploring the relationship between art and creative freedom, analysing form, emotion, and spatial design within art.

War: Investigating how social upheaval and control mechanisms in warfare influence urban design and liberty.

Laws: Examining the relationship between law, freedom, and order, designing cities without coercive legislation.

Myth: Analyses symbols of freedom, creation, and order within mythology to provide design inspiration.

2.2 Image Analysis

• CNN: Analyse style, colour, and composition in artistic images to reverse-engineer modular designs.

• Image Sentiment Analysis: Stimulate freedom and creativity through emotional responses to artworks, providing design inspiration.

• SOM: Cluster visual features and emotional tags of artworks to design spaces aligned with ‘freedom’ and ‘creativity’ themes.

2.3 Time Series Analysis

• Event-Driven Analysis: Reveal the dynamic equilibrium between freedom and order through wars and legal transformations.

• Predictive Modelling: Employ LSTM to forecast social conflicts and order shifts, supporting adaptive urban design.

1. Homo Ludens:

Constant drew upon Johan Huizinga's concept of Homo Ludens to propose the notion of ‘Playing’, positing that play lies at the heart of human culture. Constant's design for New Babylon sought to create a world free from traditional societal constraints, enabling people to move freely and express themselves, while encouraging creativity and exploration.

2. Automated Society:

Automation lies at the heart of New Babylon's design. Constant envisaged technology replacing arduous labour, freeing people to focus on creation, leisure, and exploration rather than subsistence work.

3. Modular Architecture:

New Babylon's urban design employs modularity, emphasising flexibility and adaptability. Buildings are movable, interconnected modules that freely expand or contract with time and changing needs, allowing residents to alter their living environments as required.

4. Influence of the Situationist Movement:

The New Babylon concept aligns with the ideals of the international Situationist movement, opposing capitalism and industrialisation. It aims to liberate humanity, eliminate oppression and constraints, and create a free, interactive urban environment.

5. Visual Representation:

Constant presented New Babylon's design through models, drawings, and imagery. These works depicted an ever-evolving city brimming with interactive spaces, sparking visions of liberated lifestyles.

6. Utopian Architecture:

New Babylon is regarded as a classic example of utopian architecture, challenging conventional urban design by proposing a future city brimming with freedom and creativity. Though a theoretical concept, it exerted profound influence on contemporary urban planning.
