aprildrawing day 10! This time is Szakoi, god of corruption and glitches! Like the fact he glitched off his tattoos. Totally. That’s why his shirt is grey. Just trust me on this, okay?

Heyyy, long time no see. Look at what I dug up! Actually there were supposed to be several panels for this one but for various reasons I ran out of steam mid-work. This one was already finished, though, so...
It was supposed to explain Czyrus' and thus also kind of Szakoi's backstory (and pitch into the Godmode anime thing). The gist: Szakoi is neither the first nor the last incarnate of corruption. After he attained consciousness, he was invariably drawn to Czyrus, his predecessor. His looks are based on what I looked like a few years ago, haha.
The different incarnates tend to have different shticks. While Szakoi is obviously glitch-based, Czyrus' speciality was corruption in people. But it turned out there was vastly more technology to glitch than hearts to corrupt, which means Szakoi eventually overpowered Czyrus and devoured him.
To be fair, he was kind of on autopilot for that one. Corruption generally tries to connect to its other parts. It's a bit like mercury, really.
At current, Szakoi is the main expression of corruption, and he's absolutely terrified of the next incarnate devouring him. In the meantime, the predecessors live on inside Szakoi as fragmented personality parts, Czyrus being the strongest. He is a bit of a mixture between an alternate self and an older brother living in his head: He can try to pull together his fragments, restore himself and event attempt a take over, or he can blend in more smoothly into Szakoi's personality. It depends on what's going on inside Szakoi's brain. Like if he was a little less fucking hostile and broken, maybe...
So yeah, that was that.
