I’m so curious. What’s a character you headcanon as a system who doesn’t have any “canonical evidence”? No mind palaces, no possession, no dark reflection, none of the tropes commonly seen in plural headcanons. A character who is a perfect example of “source: I made it the fuck up”

System: OSDD-1b (lacks amnesia between alters). Unaware that they are a system. They all believe that they are Shadow Milk, who has different "mindsets" he takes on. Shadow Milk Cookie: Current host. Originated as a protector, now a persecutor. Initially split when Fount was attacked by the angry mob depicted in Dominion of the Beasts 2. Fount of Knowledge: Ex-host and core. Infrequent solo-fronter, occasional co-fronter. Young Shepherd Cookie: Syskid and innocence-holder. Only fronts when by himself. Initially split during their imprisonment in the Silver Tree, partially to make up for the system's lack of a childhood.

Thinking a lot about CCCC as a system narrative.
Thinking about how Whole is never really treated like a person, but a concept in the album.
Thinking about how Soul acknowledges in some ways that he is Whole.
Thinking about Soul being a system that's in denial, despite knowing the truth.
Thinking about Soul saying "Doctor, I can't tell if I'm not me."
Thinking about how Heart and Mind view Whole as all three of them working in unity, or as a state of mind, while Soul is borderline fanaticially obsessive over Whole as though he were a deity.
Thinking about how Whole might not even actually exist at all, and Soul is just chasing an unattainable fantasy.
Thinking about Heart and Mind having had control over the body before, not Soul.
Thinking about Heart and Mind trying to keep Soul from committing suicide.
Thinking about Heart as an emotional alter, Mind as a protector alter, and Soul as a host alter.
Thinking about them finding peace living as a system when Soul can finally admit to himself that he's not a singlet, and accept Heart and Mind as being permanent.
Thinking extremely hard about all of this.

AHAHAHAHA YESSSSSSS TRUE !!!!! Lunar and Solar and Ruin are my biggest DID truthings but like.... Ignoring the canonical systems (Bloodmoon + Gemini(<- i do think Castor and Pollux are also systems but shhhhh)), there's Sun and Moon and Eclipse and Solar Flare and Nebula and and and—
Like the central theme of so many OG conflicts are so easily viewed thru the lense of plurality.... "Hi it's me, person 1! I have intense stressors and trauma and behavioral patterns that make me feel evil at my very core, so I'm going to forcefully push that out of me to be Good again. What's that? That turned into a person? An evil person who wishes harm because I didn't actually get rid of that, it just got passed onto someone else? ... Uh. That sounds scary let's kill it."
LIKE it's too obvious and I know I'm not the first person to talk about how Eclipse can be a great example of how people treat """evil alters""" (persecutors 90% of the time) and assume the best outcome is to beat them with sticks and lock them in cages until they stop. Which is obviously the worst way to do it lol
BUT AGAIN. THAT'S ALL SO EASY THAT'S SO SURFACE LEVEL STUFF MAN. Plurality is so infused into tsams and it takes like 5 seconds of sniffing around to find anything. Lunar and Solar are some of my fave examples of parallels/contrasts with it tho goddd I hope I make a post about them someday bc I did such a bug ramble to a a dear mutual and I wanna talk more about it to my followers.....
