Created systems and headmates are loved and valued!
All created systems are valid and amazing!
Creating a system is done for so many reasons and they're all valid!
Created traumagenics are valid
Created endogenics are valid
Created tulpas are valid
Willowgenics are valid
All created plurals are valid, loved and valued!
Our created headmate Ellery is showered with so much love from the entire system that knows about him. She's a creation of love, created because we got far enough into recovery to accept ourselves radically. We are full of love. Ellery is that love made into a person.
Syscourse break! A positivity post!
What's something you like about your system or one of your systemmates?
I'll start.
Jas fronted for a few hours today, including for our drive to work. She listened to her usual, 90s boy bands. And for the whole fifteen minute drive, she sung her heart out.
She has a really soft singing voice even when she's trying to sing loudly. And it's a beautiful voice, with little of our natural waver or off key wobbling. We really like her singing voice!
i wanted to try to get some positivity going in the syscourse tags today because it is a headache to look at (as usual).
whats something you’ve accomplished recently that makes you feel proud? it can be as big or as small as you need it to be, even just waking up today is an accomplishment to be proud of!!
i’ll start: i’ve recently been able to talk about experiences within my system to people other than my therapist without Gatekeeper shutting it down by triggering a fear response! this is a really big accomplishment for me given two years ago i couldn’t talk about it at all with anyone :)
question number 6:
what is your collective hyperfixation

I hope people remember that they themself and others have lives beyond the screen. Whatever you or they post doesn't reflect their entire life or what they do for a living. Especially with how syscourse or online spaces in general makes us too angry and think everyone who participates in it are "Ooh chronically online, don't have a life, go touch grass".
These people you disagree with, these people you incredibly dislike, are people like you too. They're obviously a little different, with their own knick knacks and quirks, but they're people.
Please take a moment to just pull away from the screen and just think a bit, especially when you're getting a bit too mean in your wording or getting too riled up.
Maybe also check if you need anything done today :] Have a good day
Remember to take care of yourselves
Sometimes, when friends say you should step back, it's because they care, and they're seeing something you're not
People are notoriously bad at judging their own behavior and mental state
Sometimes you need help, and it's okay to accept
Sometimes you need a break, and it's okay to take one
Sometimes you just need to step back, remove yourself completely, and look at the situation, and yourself, critically
Mental health breaks should be encouraged, they should be rewards for tasks that drain you or getting through situations that have left you stressed
It's okay to just take some time to sort yourself out
Always take care of yourself, first and foremost
Remember that you matter, and that things will always be better when you're ready to come back
You can only come out stronger if you stop along the way to treat your wounds
what syscourse stances would various cat breeds have?
I think calico cats would be pro-endogenic. and then orange cats would be anti-endogenic, and tuxedo cats neutral.
I think my mother's cat specifically would be a parogenic system, too.
