So, I have been thinking about working on a new Overwatch story for a bit now, just so I have something to work on besides my main story "Trouble Comes in Threes". Junkmetra/Symmrat, of course... But I was inspired by a sketch done by LinaLance, and thought an Overwatch/Cyberpunk 2077 crossover starring CYBERFUEL JUNKRAT made every scrap of goddamn sense in the world! So... I did a thing and wrote a things... 🤣

Title: Cyberwatch 2077

Summary: Night City is many things...and none of them are nice. It is filled to the brim with corruption, morally bankrupted backstabbers, crooked cops, gangbangers, psychotic sociopaths and worse, all looking for a throat to slit and easy eddies to line their pockets. No hope, happiness or meaningful joy of any kind SURVIVES Night City.

It was pain.

It was constant struggle.

It was survival of the fittest.

In short, it was, at least for mercs like Jamison Fawkes, Mako Rutledge and Olivia Colomar, the perfect environment for them to hone their unique skillsets and rock Night City to its core as they attempt to make themselves known as the best mercenaries around.

That is, until they are paid a visit by a representative of a multibillion-dollar corporation from India, looking to utilize their talents for the apparent good of humanity...something that, in this city, raises more than a couple of red flags.

There's only one bed, they share, they fuck, they get together, it's super sweet, yadda yadda but then like 10 years later Junkrat turns to her and says "Wait a minute, you can just MAKE a bed out of hard light."

As Junkrat loads up frag launcher and starts running into the battle, Symmetra teleports in front of him.

Symmetra: Aren't you forgetting something?

Junkrat: Uh...wait wait, I know uh...Oh right!

Junkrat grabs Symmetra and pulls her in for a kiss.

Junkrat: Bye!

Then he promptly hops away with a concussion mine, laughing maniacally along the way. Symmetra is in a daze until she realizes why she truly stopped her Junker.
