“She’s so Pretty”
Is she really? I feel like the majority of people have had their perception of beauty completely warped. Dyed hair, tweezed brows, fake tans, painted faces, etc. She is not pretty. Her artistic expression may be to your liking, but honestly you wouldn’t recognize that girl in bare skin. She’s completely distorted her body and face to a point you wouldn’t recognize her if she didn’t draw her eyebrows on everyday.
I’ll never understand how people get happiness from being fake on a daily basis. I scrolled through my newsfeed on facebook today to see nothing but girls in their fake-smile-pose with heavy amounts of make up, burnt-out hair-do’s, meaningless accessories and clothes they spent a week of work to buy. I sat there, not hating them for their expression, but just grossed out by it. Like the thought of eating fake processed burgers that contain mostly hair and bone instead of meat. That kind of disgusted.
I don’t like crappy food like that, so I don’t eat it. I don’t keep it in the house and I don’t order it off menus. I definitely don’t include pictures of it on my facebook. So, I removed some friends today and told them why. Their habits, values and way they present themselves just doesn’t sit right with me. Its never sat right with me, but I’ve reached that point in my life where I feel the need to remove things I don’t believe in or respect. Feels good. Should have done it sooner.
