  THE AIR FLEW PAST YOUR EAR IN A DEEP SET “ WOOSH ! ”    /    an elated laugh couldn’t help but fall from your lips.  you felt weightless, like your body was nothing more than cardboard, or an EMPTY CAN of pop that someone had fixed to a string. your arms flail inelegantly as you let go     /    as you fell?  you hear a scream   /    you didn’t know this at the time but it was  YOUR OWN   /  was this how it was to fly?  you felt as icarus did, the air, as soft cushion to catch your freefall as your plummeted twords the surely cold water bellow     ---   BUT WITH NO FEAR    !      you had never felt more alive, it was as if life was being absorbed through your skin via sunlight. the air in your lungs caught as you hit the surface, the water bending around your body     /    and as you float bellow, a smile spread across your lips, your legs KICKING YOU UP TO THE SURFACE, where the sun glistened, where your eyes narrowed to be able to see the figure standing above. your voice called out.
