#swiz

Like two-ish years ago a soda shop called swig opened a small location near lone peak high school and the Walmart. The horrid parking lot did not dissuade customers and it quickly boasted long ass lines of moms and lone peak students who will not be making it to their A4 classes on time. 

We lived peacefully with this creature until a few months ago when a rival soda shop, FiiZ, announced it would open its doors just across the street. closer to Walmart. Swig did not like this and immediately sent out the news to their troupes of teenage employees that drinks would now be only one dollar the day of Fiiz’s grand opening. Fiiz’s employees against swigs employees. Swig immediately took first place in this violently capitalist battle. It did not help that Fiiz was much slower, despite its exceedingly better drive thru. FiiZ retaliated! Creating the longest happy “hour” one could imagine. From 5 to 8 pm.

Alas the day of. Cars lined up at swig, wrapping around the police station because the drive thru is so god awful. Diet Texas tabs, sugar cookies, diet raspberry dreams, pretzel bites, any drink made with coke but diet because we need to work off that pregnancy, flew off the one window 6x6-ish shelves! While FiiZ sat across the street with not nearly as many customers. Swig’s giant inflatable cup adorned the top of its building, mocking the smaller shop beside it.

We all thought the attack would be over the next day. A 44 ounce diet Dr Pepper with coconut and vanilla cream would go back to being like seven bucks. But no. It still lingers. The competition now surpassing the greed. Still to this day, one dollar drinks, any size.

FiiZ keeps up its calm and collected, more mature approach. Keeping their happy hour and better designed but slow as shit drive thru.

Swig attacks again. “Fixing” their drive thru by making a double lane, circling path out into the rocky field to the side of its shop. Teenagers stand outside holding iPads strapped around their necks, taking orders and asking you if you could “pay at the window, my card reader’s being buggy today.”

Though FiiZ has more diversity in its items, including smoothies, more treat options, and coffee (which only helps a little bit seeing as the Mormonism of it all. There’s a church within walking distance of this place. This FiiZ is open on Sundays too. Which is actually an incredible example of a snake eating its own tale. Think about it, soda shops were a product of the no coffee rule among the lds church because these stay at home mothers simply cannot take care of their eight children without an energy boost. Totally understandable btw. Soda shops are inherently a Mormon creation so to offer things unchurch related is an interesting move. To come into a market that is, at its core, targeting Mormons who are taught to be deathly loyal to their religion and then selling something they cannot have and discourage others from having and being open on a day they would not regularly be out and about on is almost a political religious statement.)

It was no match for Diet Coke with syrups in it.

Madam Bellum

Species: Two-tailed Demon cat 

 Age: 2412 years old (24 in human terms)

Occupation: Principal in Vain Academy

Powers:  Grow bigger, senses of a cat, copy any ability she sees and control, cloning, super strength.

Bellum got banished from hell (way before the devil made the casino) due to her  violent tendencies is too much for the devil to handle. She wants to rule the world with an iron fist. Than realized that teaching students to be evil, is much better and fun. Her favorite class is Home EC, where the students will learn to make poison. (She mostly eats it herself though...)

Dr. Blue (blue flames) is the mad scientist who teaches science and math.  (graduated at Vain Academy at age 10 ) He also brainwashed students and staff if they betrayed or tell anyone about the Vain Academy.  

SWIZ (Cheese) a huge Bully at his youth and end up killing his friends and family for money. He teaches Gym.

Ms. Nancy -  World class thief, able to steal anything without getting caught. Her favorite thing to steal are from famous artist around the world. Her ability is to copy anything and get away with anything. (even murder) She teaches art, french, and evil art of seduction.
