Ingredients: 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced. 3 tbsp cornstarch. 2 tbsp vegetable oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/2 cup water. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/2 tsp grated ginger. 2 green onions, chopped. 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional. Cooked rice, for serving.
Instructions: In a bowl, coat the sliced flank steak with cornstarch. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the coated flank steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and grated ginger. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef.
