I love you, but goodbye
My dear, it has been now three years since we crossed our paths. Three amazing years. Full of passion, companionship, compassion, love, laughters, tears, some pain, and a lot of life lessons. The last one of them, is that you’re searching for something, I’m not able to give you.
It doesn’t have to be anyone’s fault or mean that our relationship was a failure. Sometimes life is tricky and we find what we want - a great love -, but not what we need. In your case, I believe you need to be a free spirit and find your self-worth and self-love.
Yes me dear, it is sad and extremelly painful. Nobody tell us in love stories, that sometimes, two people who truly love each other, are not meant to be together or meet at the wrong time.
Turning the “boy” or “girl” out and making it just friend is hard. A person, with whom you shared your sheets, your secrets, your fears. It’s hard. But it’s harder to live pretending there’s still something there.
Trust is like a sand castle and remorse should be like like water buckets on your shoulders. If they weren’t heavy in these almost two years, then I don’t wanna be there to find out what will.
You’re searching for something I couldn’t give you the whole time. And I’m sorry, but I can’t live with that.
I will always love you, but this is the final chapter in our story as a couple.
