       he’s seeing red, anywhere he goes.   it’s not just the blood, either. it’s the anger that’s beginning to settle deep within him. it’s the thought of how unfair it is that captain haldane is gone. mere split of a second and their morale dropped so dramatically. eugene knows they’ve got to continue on. he knows this war is far from over yet, but the longer they spend on these islands, the more his hope of ever getting the hell off of them begins to fade.

i’ve only made like …. 20 posts on the subject, but i get pretty defensive about sex worker shaming and the use of sex worker slurs. i get uncomfortable seeing people just through around sl*t/h*e/th*t like the words mean absolutely nothing. and i’ve lost a lot of energy when it comes to informing people why using those words liberally isn’t appropriate and why sex worker plots ( like a pretty woman plot ) isn’t good either. 

        The Doctor’s stumbling down a riverside embankment in a hurry, eyes darting between her surroundings and the glowing device in her hands. The light pulses with a low beeping sound, and she only realizes she’s not alone after an almost comical double-take. “Brilliant! Hello. Sorry I didn’t see you, but I’ve got a question—” The Doctor pauses as the machine suddenly dies. “Oh, no you don’t.” She hits it against her palm a few times until it lights up again. “There we go. Where was I? Oh, right!” The Doctor turns to the woman standing a few yards away. “Have you seen a small-ish ball of light pass through here? Bit of a smoke trail behind? I’ve been trying to get her home, but all she wants to do is play.”

He stops to listen intently, trying to get a hold of his own panting from running with her. She was a casualty; an innocent bystander that no matter what Merlin was telling him, Eggsy just CAN’T leave her to her own devices. The men he and Tequila were up against as of current time were highly aggressive, just minutes ago holding the young woman hostage until Eggsy had intervened. He could hear talking on the other side of the door they had come to a halt in front of, glancing over his shoulder at her and holding up a finger to his bleeding lip, indicating for her to remain SILENT as possible. He held his weapon at the ready, looking around him for cover for her to hide behind. Blue hues catching sight of a desk with a back, he grabs her by the arm as gently as his ADRENALINE fueled body would allow and steered her toward it, gesturing her to get down and hide, crouching down to her height to whisper to her, eyes remaining glued to the door he was about to enter.

          DAMN,   HE’D  WOKEN  HER  AFTER  ALL.    Or,   at  least,   brought  her  back  from  the  brink  of  sleep.    The  way  she  speaks,   and  moves,   says  it  all.    There’s  a  moment,   where  he  considers  turning  and  leaving,   allowing  her  to  sleep  and  perhaps  wonder  if  he’d  ever  been  there  at  all.    Then  her   hands  are  around  his.    Lips  over  skin,   and  his  shirt  framing  her  figure.    She  pulls,   and  he  puts  up  no  fight.

          As  soon  as  he’s  on  the  bed,   he’s  laying  down,   finding  a  comfortable  place  propped  up  slightly  against  the  headboard,   though  he  knows  he  can’t  stay  long.    The  whole  reason  he’d  come  to  her  in  the  middle  of  the  night  was  to  tell  her  that  he’s  leaving.    Not  for  good,   or  anything  so  extreme,   but  something’s  come  up  that  he  must  handle.    Something  he’d  rather  her  not  be  involved  with,   if  he  can  help  it---   and  he  can  help   it.    Still,   for  him  to  come  to  tell  her  at  all,   rather  than  simply  vanishing  for  a  while?    Must  be  that  she’s  really  and  truly  GROWING  on  him.
