#sweeping generalizations

If middle aged white men with moustaches would stop telling me jokes about how useless and lazy and sensitive my generation is that would be great thanks.

This may be my first rant

I am so sick and tired of people on this site, other sites, and even in real life generalizing a whole group of people based on whatever idea they’ve learned or adhere to.  Okay yeah some people can fall under those ideas, but those some people do not equal the entire populace of what they make up.  Not every X is Y, point blank.  This isn’t a difficult concept.  Stop judging an entire group of people based on whatever stupid concept or idea that was just created in the past five years, because guess what.... EVERY SINGLE PERSON IS DIFFERENT!!!  You saying that every single person of whatever race, gender/sex, body type, class, religion, political beliefs, philosophical and ideological adherence is like whatever you think is not only blatantly false but also shows your lack of differentiation and your lack of willingness to admit that not everyone is a copy and paste of a stereotype.

Seriously just stop this!  And before you say “But I experienced...”, guess what so have I.  I have experienced multiple hardships, mistreatment, and toxic behavior at the hands of different types of people, but I don’t sweepingly generalize all those people.  Many people are assholes, not everyone is an asshole.  Generalizing all people based on whatever idea or behavior makes you an asshole.
