I really pushed myself to finish up my Oslo Sweater a few weeks ago, it’s not blocked yet but I’m proud of it and can’t resist sharing. The dark yarn is a placeholder to indicate the back until I can get some garment labels. I used a sport/DK-ish weight alpaca yarn in place of holding a fingering weight yarn together with mohair, I think the risk paid off because I love the drapey fabric I ended up with. I could’ve gotten away with sizing down but it’s cute, comfy and warm, I’ll share more of the process after I finally block it 🙂 Hopefully it doesn’t change shape too dramatically. I really can’t wait to wear it when it gets cold.

Last button sewed on and last end woven in! I can't be happier about this make. I knit it back and forth, no steek. And it actually turned out perfectly fine. As a bonus I can now comfortably throw with my left hand. Three colors over one round was definitely a challenge. But slow and steady wins the race. Pattern: Vintersol by @knit.love.wool Yarn: Lettlopi and Järbo 3-tr and some handspun. About 1k meters all in all. So many of us testers split for the sleeves in between different colorwork sections and added or subtracted length we needed. This was on my knit list for a few years and I’m glad I was able to cross it off with this test knit. I decided to go crazy with the colors and I think it paid off. No need to be this ambitious, a 2-color or even 3-color without needing to hold 3 colors at the same time looks great too. I paired 3 Selvage DK colors with Primrose Yarn Co’s Roan DK, a base I’ve been meaning to try, and I’m glad I did.
