lolo (JPホップスペットHoppusupetto) is one of the minor rulers of pumpkin rot, actin' as one of the recurrin' antagonists alon'side spiretta. she also belongs to the dream hoppers species. lolo is a dream hopper with a comical appearance, very similar to that of a clown. she has white skin, an oval head, and a triangular body. her short, messy red hair has two antennae with pink spheres at the ends, which also have white lines. her face has eyes with several pink 'nd yellow pupils and some smaller white ones, a red clown nose, a carefree smile, 'nd two green and purple cheeks. under her head, she has a circular scarf with several white dots. she has lon' arms with two fingers and white lines, these arms are connected to her scarf, as she doesn't 've real arms. she can extend these arms to attack or use more intelligent strategies. she wears a yellow jacket with six short threads and pink, donut-shaped circles, a dark robe with two red buttons, a kind of dark escaping that forms part of her vest, 'nd triangular legs. lolo is described as an intellectual know-it-all. most people describe her as an intellectual who perseveres in her studies. she is often portrayed as a meticulous intellectual who loves books and collectin' insects and other small, preserved dreamers. she collects them to feed her brain and mind, 'nd also fer the sheer pleasure of seekin' information and copyin' their magic to gain an advantage in battles. she also demonstrates great tactical intelligence, in battle, she is able to analyze her own mistakes and modify her strategies on the fly dependin' on the party's movements, adaptin' her patterns based on what yawnked 'r failed last time. it is also known that she idolizes kindton, considering him a "true genius" 'nd practically acting as her favourite devotee. in fact, if hambo possesses a bird feather, lolo starts droolin' with excitement, thinkin' they are kindton's feathers. she also seems to have the mistaken idea that kindton is a bird, even though he is a ghost possessin' a puppet. she also mentions that she met kindton when they were both very youn' 'nd got along well. she is also usually accompanied by spiretta, possibly as her babysitter 'r playmate. featherattle (JPハネハブ/Hanehabu) is a dreamer found in the swarm swamps in pumpkin rot, chapter 6 of needle travels. it is a common enemy unique to the area. it is a dream snake with green scales, large eyes with reddish irises, prominent fangs, a red crystal gem, white feathers with red and orange zigzag patterns, two separate orange zigzag lines on its body, dark wings, 'nd three red crystal spheres at the end of its tail. it is a dreamer of stark contrasts. 'cause it lives exclusively in pumpkin rot, its demeanour reflects the melancholy of an ecosystem slowly rottin' away due to sinsun 'nd his laboratories. it moves with almost regal elegance, considerin' its feathers 'nd gem sacred treasures that cleanse the stench of sinsun's labs. it doesn't attack out of malice, but out of fear that strangers will damage the crops and seedlin's in its territory. it hisses the letters S, C (soft), and Z in an exaggerated way, its tone slow, poetic, 'nd polemical. it ends its sentences with a rhythmic pattern of three short hisses that mimic the sound of its three red spheres. in the japanese translation, it uses an ancient 'nd solemn dialect, classic of guardian spirits, replacin' common verb endin's with searing 'nd drawn-out hisses like 「～しゅ」 or 「～しゃ」, and uses the archaic pronoun (吾/wave) to refer to itself. its name, featherattles, is a combination of "feather" 'nd "rattlesnake." its Japanese name (ハネハブ/Hanehabu) comes from (羽/Hane) and (飯匙倩/Habu), which refers to a venomous snake from okinawa. in the main story, the featherattles appear fer the first and only time in the swarm swams area. here, they appear as common enemies, 'metimes hiding in mounds of mud and leaves to sleep. however, when the party talks to the mounds, the featherattles emerge, frightened, thus initiatin' an encounter with the party. some featherattle NPCs can be seen as small guardians in certain handmade yurts. they seem quite concerned 'bout sinsun's labs and say that these facilities must be destroyed.
