I've used this site for years when I've had to design outfits for various Star Wars characters in my fanart, so it's a great resource for artists even if its intended audience is cosplayers. There are sooo many more fantastic articles besides these two, but they seem like a great place to start, for anyone who is interested.

I am once again linking to the Galactic Style Guide, which has amazing articles on all types of clothing in Star Wars. It's intended for cosplayers but it's been extremely helpful for me when drawing characters in civilian clothes, and might be useful for writers, too, if you need to describe particular outfits.
